Pros:

Super close to Paddington Station which was so convenient to catch the Heathrow Express.
We had an issue where upstairs guest flooded their bathroom, which dripped into our room. The staff acted quickly however and moved us immediately to another room.

We were in a lower basement room (505 i think) next to the Gym. There was a terrible smell in the corridor near the Gym which filtered in to our room. Really not very nice.

Pros:

Wonderful staff, extra above and beyond for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Room had the basics (fridge, shower, bed, coffee). We did like the location, convenient restaurant next door.

Cons:

Very loud room, the wood fire doors banged constantly, all day (should install buffer or keep them open during day maybe?), shower had a drip all day and night, loud even with door closed, room service/restaurant service very loud very early for bfast (we were jet lagged trying to sleep in). Tiny tiny room, couldn't unpack suitcase with 2 people. Paid for queen bed, even with my lovely wife it was too cramped (and i’m 6’4”). Never made it to terrace bar, but all in all didnt feel like the room we paid for.

Pros:

Slight delay on check-in, no fault of the staff. Shah was great - he got us settled while we waited and had our bags put them in the room for us as soon as the room was ready. Very courteous.

Room had everything you need. Small but perfectly formed. Ideal location near station & Hyde Park. I got a fabulous price which I think was just lucky as not seen room available for under £100 again.
