At least the staff is friendly
The property was dirty, need maintenance. You can tell from elevator to lobby that the property was not taken cared of. The washroom was no exhaust. The floor was sticky. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The fridge door was not closing properly. The pool was dirty.
A lot of sketchy people at night when we arrived on Friday night.
Hotel name was changed in the apps but the property itself still has the "La Quinta" sign on the building.
The worst and feeling unsafe hotel we stayed so far.
Good breakfast
Having a none smoking room
Close to Mall of America and some other shopping centers.
Facility feels unsafe, not clean, smells no good. You get what you pay.
We booked our room, had no issues paying, and we're turned away because I am 20 years old. I understand why we were turned away, but I would like a full refund since we did not get to stay in the room. I was told I would get a.refund by the worker.
I did not like not getting my refund I was told I would get.
The price
Waiting for 30 min for staff to check me in
Staff members refused to help when I reported money being stolen from me by another guest in the hotel… refused to let me talk to a manager and told me it’s a “civil matter”
It was near all the bowling alleys we were required to be at Junior Gold.
I didn’t like the smell of the breakfast.
I like the price, and the location. The cleanliness was satisfactory.
The staff at the front desk kept disappearing outside. There would be a sign posted stating that the staff will be right back and you would be standing there waiting for up to 10 minutes for service. I was in need of a roll of tissue and had to stand there and wait. This happened multiple times during my stay. There needs to be more than one person available. I also didn't like the slow poorly flushing toilets. You had to flush about 2-3 times just to get the tissue to drain. Last thing, the breakfast needs to improve. There was no meat. On two of the days the hot breakfast consisted of eggs and like some kind of hot dog in a pancake batter, and one day it was eggs and hashbrowns. There need to be bacon or sausages in addition to some kind of breakfast potatoes. My kids didn't want any of the breakfast.
It is good place
Service and staff
Location
Rather old
El Personal muy amable hasta los Housekeeping
Todo las de la cocina todos muy amable.
No tanto porque las camas eran Full me hubiera gustado que fueran Queen o king . Todo lo demás súper lo recomiendo .
I like that they have park and Fly. The shuttle was very efficient
Door to our room didn't seem to fit right, and exposed spackling above the shower, a person seemed to be lurking around when we arrived and that same person was there when we got back from our trip 9 days later.
Room was spacious
Staff were rude, we had a king suite with 2 sliding doors one in each room on the 2nd day of our stay we noticed the one door was open about 2 inches. When we went to slide it closed the entire door fell off. Reported immediately to front desk they did nothing for 2 days I had to purchase plastic and painters tape to cover the opening which open to the outside the heavy door they just propped up could have been blown over by gusty wind and fallen on my child whose bed was in that room. Staff were rude condescending and kept insinuating we broke the door. After the 2nd day the rude front desk man came up to the room took picture of the door and told us we couldn't stay in that room. The only offer they made was to move us to a 2 double bed room which would not accommodate our group of 3 adults and 1 teenager and a refund of $10. We still had 4 nights of our reservation remaining. I requested 2 double rooms and they said only if I paid full price for the 2nd room. We opted to check out early and front desk said they would refund the remaining nights but then lied and said it had to come from Booking. No refund to be seen at this point. Would not recommend this place at all!! Look them up in 2015 part of their building fell down requiring evacuation and news articles state they knew about building structural issues and ignored them
