In an effort to safeguard the historic Hotel Provincial, a portion of the property will be undergoing building restoration in December and January. Work will be done Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm and you may experience noise between these hours.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. A perfect place to enjoy the city.
Pros:

The high ceilings and the room decor was amazing! The staff was beyond helpful and polite. The courtyard was very pretty and a perfect place to munch on a quick to-go dinner, and the location puts you in the perfect spot in the French Quarter. We will be back.

Wonderful! Great place!
Pros:

It is a beautiful property! All the staff were so nice, especially the older gentleman who did the valet parking. He always asked us if we had a good time when coming in from our explorations. Great location! Everything in the French Quarter was within walking distance but the hotel was so quiet! And be sure to try the breakfast in building 5!

It had a funny smell but the whole city does lol

I recommend this hotel and will stay there again
Pros:

Parking was on the property and handled by them; the cost was around $45 a night but you could come and go as you liked. The property has a pool and bar; however it closed at 9pm. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. We were in building 5 which has a cafe called the French Toast. Its hours were 8am to 3pm.

Cons:

I didn’t like the elevator.

Fantastic stay if you understand the building and the great location.
Pros:

Great old world New Orleans charm and setting. Perfect location for walking around.

Cons:

Be ready for some rooms to have consistent music noise from the streets and/cafe downstairs. And the shower isn’t updated so the water pressure can be a challenge. But hey, it’s an old building.

We had such a blast and the location is perfect!
Pros:

Everything was wonderful and as it appeared on the photos. The hotel bar was great, and we enjoyed the BOGO on the first round of drinks. The water was also very helpful in the heat.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of, everything was great.

Sehr bequeme Unterkunft in absoluter Top-Lage, gute Empfehlung

Die Lage ist perfekt!
Liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend im French Quarter mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ( Restaurants, Frühstückslokale, Sightseeing)
Im Prinzip ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind groß genug, die Betten bequem. Einfache Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto und Parkplatz im Hotel (45 Dollar pro Tag)
Garantiert ruhige Nächte mit schönem Innenhof, sehr nettes Personal! Gute Klimaanlage.

Cons:

Die sanitären Einrichtungen könnten eine Erneuerung vertragen ( z.B Wasserablauf im Waschbecken defekt..) insgesamt aber die Einrichtung in zufriedenstellenden Zustand
