Classic Beauty in the Big Easy
Pros:

I’ve enjoyed your hotel over the years and I am so glad to see it resorted to its original and timeless beauty. So thankful you did not paint it white and destroy its charm and ambience. The food, service, flowers and pool are as wonderful as ever.
I always appreciate hotels that have rooms where windows and/or doors that open to fresh air. It is import to be able to access fresh oxygen and not have to depend on stale (and often poorly maintained) HVAC systems.
This hotel remains the jewel of New Orleans.

Excellent hotel, best in New Orleans
Pros:

We loved our stay at The Windsor Court! The room was immaculte, beautiful and smelled good. The bathroom was spotless. The location was perfect for us and was in walking distance to everything. Staff was exceptional, from the valets that greeted us, the check-in and check-out staff, and everyone else we encountered throughout our stay. The turn down service was awesome. They left goodies every night and even put a bookmark in my book! We can't wait to stay here again when we get back to New Orleans and would highly recommend staying here. If you're undecided, I'm very picky about hotels and I had zero issues with this one.

The Windsor Court Hotel - well worth the money!
Pros:

Our stay at The Windsor Court Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed access to the Club Level, which added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our visit. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable guest experience.

One of the highlights was the excellent recommendations we received for local restaurants, attractions, and activities. Those suggestions helped us experience the city's unique charm, excitement, and eclectic vibe. From waterfront views and historic sites to vibrant neighborhoods and incredible dining, we felt immersed in everything that makes this destination so special.

The food and beverage offerings on the Club Level were outstanding and provided the perfect place to relax while taking in the energy of the city. An unexpected bonus was witnessing the 250th Celebration Ship Tour as it docked nearby. We had no idea it would be happening during our visit, and watching it from both our room and the Club Level was a truly memorable experience.

This hotel provided the perfect home base for exploring the city while also offering a welcoming retreat at the end of each day. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Truly One of the Great
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful and immaculate hotel with exceptional service and amenities. The decor, art, and ambiance in every room was thoughtfully planned and executed. Being inside the intimate and quiet hotel brings one into another world while still being in a central location in the downtown area. Within the hotel, dining options are endless and there are many opportunities to listen to live music on the weekends. Outside, many quality restaurants, shopping, and entertainment possibilities are within walking distance. The Windsor Court is truly one of the great hotels, and the staff is to be commended for displaying their impeccable pride in service and commitment to the highest of quality. All of these attributes combined to provide us a fabulous and memorable experience!

The Best. Period.
Pros:

We recently stayed at the Windsor Court for 4 nights. It was a perfect stay for any reason, but especially since we were celebrating our 45th anniversary. From the moment we arrived we experienced absolutely perfect service. Every member of the staff who we had the pleasure of dealing with, from the doormen to the front desk, to the dedicated concierges and the staff in the club lounge, were extremely helpful and warm. They truly made us feel like honored guests. The room, a king suite, has a wonderful ambience: Old world class with modern amenities. It was very warm and inviting unlike other hotels which seem cold and modern. The breakfasts in the Grill Room were outstanding, the most elegant breakfast I ever recall enjoying. Tip: Treat yourself to the fresh squoze orange juice. Yumm.
Even if it were not in New Orleans, the hotel alone would be worth a visit. We are already planning our visit for our next anniversary.

A Gem of a hotel
Pros:

It is unusual for a hotel (or Airbnb) these days to exceed expectations and Windsor Court is that kind of place. I have stayed there 2x already. Wow1 It is worth the value. The attention to detail is clear and they do not cut corners that I could tell. We travel a lot. Rooms are gorgeous and clean and the amenities are so generous. Staff is service oriented and well trained.

Best Hotel in New Orleans
Pros:

The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in from Paris to Rome to Barcelona. The staff is warm and welcoming, the rooms are plush and comfortable, the Polo Lounge is a quaint classy bar with live music on the weekends. My Australian Shepherd gets treated like a king there.

Windsor Court.
Pros:

Stayed here for 5 days for New Orleans vacation with husband and three kids. I’m very happy with my stay. Clean. Comfortable. Elegant. Spacious. Nice decor. Nothing looked dated to me. Staff was great. Polite and helpful. There’s a house car that can drive you short distances. The bellman let us borrow umbrellas one morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Service , location and cleanliness
Pros:

We stayed here for one night after a cruise. Would recommend for location, cleanliness, and over all quality service. Vincent was welcoming at the front door, concierge was helpful, and front desk accommodating.
The room was well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable, linens smelled good, shower good pressure and hot. We also stayed a night at the Henry Howard Hotel on the front end of our cruise. They’re comparable in price per night and you get a lot more amenities and better service at the Windsor. We would choose the Windsor again.

Oozes sophistication and class
Pros:

The Windsor Court is a class act in all respects. My wife and I have visited many times, and look forward to another return stay next month.
All of the public areas ooze sophistication and the rooms are large, comfortable and are a haven to return to, away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter.
Every staff member is courteous and friendly and always provide a warm welcome. The Club Lounge is amazing, with food and drink offerings all day and has the most wonderful staff looking after you.
We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Windsor Court not worth it per seasoned traveler
Pros:

This hotel cries out for an overdue remodel not just in its public areas. Front desk was courteous but ineffective. We waited over 4 hours for a room that we booked in advance for early arrival. Truly a management issue! The room (at $900+per night!) never materialized as they were suddenly fully booked due to ( our) conference and after speaking to a supervisor they agreed we should try another hotel. I was late for my meetings but thankfully quickly settled into the 4 Seasons ( great all around!). P.S. The Windsor Court lobby coffee is terrible -watery and tasteless. Don’t waste your time and money here!

Awesome Hotel In New Orleans Top Notch
Pros:

My daughter and I stayed in this beautiful hotel Feb. 16th -19th. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our suite was amazing (Queen Suite) and we loved our balcony view.
The room was clean and beds were comfy. The entire hotel was really neat! We swam in the pool one night and loved that too. The housekeeping was attentive. We would definitely stay there again.

Our absolute favorite hotel in New Orleans
Pros:

We have been visiting New Orleans once a year for at least the past ten years and have stayed at about six different hotels. We booked through the American Express Platinum card which included a room upgrade if available, $40 each for breakfast and $100 hotel credit. The hotel was in a very central location and easily walkable to most places.
We were given an upgrade to a beautiful and spacious room on the 18th floor. The beds were very comfortable and appreciated the elegant classic decor.
The omelet at breakfast was absolutely delicious and was able to have as many ingredient choices as we wanted, not just the usual 3 choices. Fresh fruit accompanied the omelet. The beignets were the best we had in New Orleans.
Kimble, our server, was the ultimate in professionalism, personality and service.
The doormen and staff at reception were very welcoming and aimed to please.
The Windsor was a true oasis in New Orleans and would highly recommend. The large bouquet of 12 dozen beautiful roses in the lobby set the tone of elegance.

It is still the best
Pros:

Despite the interference of Carnival, the Windsor Court Hotel reaffirmed its reputation as New Orleans' premier hotel. The reception continues to be world-class, the rooms are spacious and delightfully decorated, breakfast is worth a special visit yet we were most surprised by the dinner offering. The service was engaging and knowledgeable, but we were particularly delighted to learn about long-term plans that include the reintroduction of legendary dishes that were once the restaurant's signature. Traditional hotel service remains the timeless measure of grand hotels.

A luxury hotel that lives up to the hype!
Pros:

Came for a 4-night vacation. Windsor Court is ideally located within easy walking distance to the Riverwalk/waterfront, Caesar's casino, Canal street, Bourbon Street, the French Quarter and Frenchman Street - with convenient access to the streetcar lines as well. The courtyard setting is wonderful, and the staff - from doorman to the front desk, housekeeping, bar tenders, room service and spa were amazing. Really, everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was on the 18th floor and we had a river view which was great. Room was spacious and very comfortable, a tad dated, but everything was in good repair and very clean, so no complaints. The shower was great, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I had several spa treatments during my stay and they were all amazing - therapists were great, the facilities are very nice. I didn't use the pool during our stay, but it's nice as well with plenty of seating. The biggest takeaway was the wonderful level of service, which made the hotel seem even nicer than it is. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Hotel, More Traditional Vibe
Pros:

I tagged along with my husband on a work trip to New Orleans and spent the weekend before his meetings exploring the city. We began our stay at a lovely hotel in the Garden District, then moved to Windsor Court Hotel for the remainder of the trip.

The room at Windsor Court was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the hotel itself is clearly well run and upscale. That said, after the tree-lined streets and historic homes of the Garden District, the surrounding neighborhood felt like a bit of a letdown. The overall vibe of the hotel leaned more traditional and old-school than my personal taste, bordering on stuffy. I can easily see this being a plus for travelers who appreciate a more classic feel.

On the positive side, the location is very walkable to the French Quarter and several excellent restaurants, including St. John, Restaurant R’evolution, and Bearcat Cafe. I definitely got my steps in. Fourth Wall Coffee was also a great nearby spot for coffee.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found Windsor Court to be a comfortable and polished option, even if the location and atmosphere were not quite my favorite compared to other parts of the city.

Best hotel experience in the US
Pros:

Our stay at Windsor Court New Orleans was absolutely exceptional. From check-in to check-out, everything felt first class. The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming at every touchpoint. The executive-level lounge was a standout, offering an elevated, relaxed experience that truly enhanced our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and we felt completely taken care of throughout. Windsor Court sets the standard for luxury hospitality in New Orleans. We were blown away and can’t wait to return.
