Excellent hôtel très bien situé

Nous avons passé 7 nuit dans cet hôtel, tout était parfait, nous étions au 11ème et dernier étage à l’arrière et nous n’avons entendu aucun bruit. La chambre et très spacieuse et très propre. Elle dispose d’un sèche cheveux et d’un défroisseur ce qui est très appréciable. L’hôtel est hyper bien placé, quand on vient de l’aéroport l’arrêt de métro est à 2min et il est possible de faire pas mal de chose à pied autour de l’hôtel. Times square et le Rockefeller center en 10-15min et pareil pour l’entré de central Park. Nous sommes ravi de notre séjour et recommanderons cet hôtel

Lots of sirens all the time. I think the safety deposit fee is also excessive, I guess they had bad experiences in the past but I was shocked

Excellent value for money, distinctive style, convenient location, cleanliness.
Pros:

We stayed as a group of two adults and two teenagers. There was plenty of space, given that we only returned to the room to sleep. It was a clean, cozy room with comfortable beds and fresh, clean bedding. The rooms were serviced daily. The hotel has a distinct style and character. There were drinking water and ice machines in the hallway, which was very convenient for travelers. The neighborhood was lively but not overly so; we felt safe, and the room windows blocked out street noise quite effectively. Excellent value for money, even exceeded expectations.

Cons:

The air conditioner emits a distinct odor, but the windows open, so it was possible to air out the room.

super lokalizacja, blisko na pieszo do wszelkich atrakcji i central parku a dalsze destynacje dostępne ze stacji metra tuż pod hotelem. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Przyjemna obsługa

Dosyć głośno, ale to jak wszędzie na Manhattanie. Natomiast wystrój i położenie wynagradza.

great location and great staff but very noisy
Pros:

- very big room for NYC standards: I travelled with 1 big and 2 small suitcases and could open them comfortably + very large bed; nice that there was a sofa and table
- very central location, you have everything nearby
- staff were incredibly nice and accomodating
- nice lobby
- 24/7 desk reception
-daily housekeeping

Cons:

- very noisy, my room was facing the avenue, which a lot of the rooms do (there are rooms which may be quieter, facing the back, but not sure), I was lucky I had earplugs because the noise is constant 24/7 + walls are thin and can hear the neighbour
- there were hairs in the bathroom, on the wall, when checking in. I informed the receptionist, requesting another clean, the staff at the front desk were really nice and apologetic, however even after the cleaner had come to the room, the hairs were still there, so had to call cleaning staff once again and I had to point them to the hairs specifically (the cleaning though was just her going with a cloth over them to gather them)
- no hand held shower, only mounted on the wall so difficult to shower well (it's not on the ceiling so you could still shower without getting your hair wet)
-room was quite dark because there are no overhead lights
- you do have to leave a deposit (I left 700dollars), but thats standard
-there was scaffolding on the building, which I wasnt aware before booking, but that didnt really disturb my stay

The room was super clean. Maid service was exceptional with fresh towels and a daily refreshing. Doorman was friendly
Pros:

Romer’s was in the perfect location. We walked to Times Square, 5th Ave, dinner, and theatres. It was close to several subway stations. Room was super comfortable. It was huge by NYC standards. Great shower and the bed was comfortable.
