Tolles Hotel für Städtetrip
Pros:

Die Lage war für unseren kurzen Städtetrip perfekt. Fußläufig zum Timesquare gelegen, aber dennoch sehr ruhig und sicher. Eine Subway Station keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, die Inneneinrichtung absolut stilvoll.

Cons:

Unsere Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht ausschalten und war recht laut.

היינו שבוע ונהננו מאוד! מיקום מעולה ונוח לשהייה במידטאון, תחנות רכבת מרכזיות ממש קרובות, קרוב לפארק ולטיים סקוור, עיצוב וינטג׳ יפה, חדרים ענקיים בקנה מידה של ניו יורק, שקט למרות השיפוצים (קומה 10), מעליות זמינות, מיזוג מעולה, קרח ומים בכל קומה, 2 בקבוקי מים קרים בכל יום. לובי כייפי עם כורסאות ועמדות ישיבה. לא לקחנו ארוחת בוקר אבל נהנינו מהקפה.
כשהייתה בעיה בשקע מייד הגיעו לטפל, מעבר לזה לא היינו צריכים עזרה אבל היו מאוד אדיבים. ממליצים בחום!

Cons:

היה לנו כתם קצת מגעיל על השטיח- ניסו לנקות ללא הצלחה, התרגלנו.. 🙂
ביציאה היינו צריכים עוד שעה וחצי- נתנו שעה לייט צ׳ק אווט, בעיני בשביל חצי שעה נוספת כדי שלא ניתקע בלובי העמוס לא שווה להגיד לא.. אבל זה לא דרמטי.

Spacious but bad customer service, rooms are poorly soundproofed

The bed and size of the room, it was spacious.

Cons:

I requested a late checkout at 1:00 p.m. in two emails, a message through Booking.com, and again at check-in, explaining that I had an important job interview from noon to 1:00 p.m. I emphasized three times how important it was that I not be disturbed.

Despite this, housekeeping staff tried to enter my room three times during the video interview, even though the “Do Not Disturb” sign was on the door. They knocked loudly and repeatedly, starting at just 12:18 p.m. The room phone then rang several times as well. These interruptions repeatedly made me lose my train of thought during an interview that mattered a great deal to me. Given how clearly I had communicated my request, this was deeply frustrating and disrespectful.

The check-in experience was also disappointing. While I was searching for my passport, the receptionist kept talking to me instead of giving me a moment to find it. A little patience and empathy would have gone a long way, especially after a long-haul flight.

Finally, the rooms are poorly soundproofed. I could clearly hear my neighbor’s conversations and television.

Excellent location to base yourself for a wonderful NYC experience!
Pros:

Loved the location, the vibe, the style and the staff. I’ve stayed in many hotels in NYC, this was the most spacious.

Cons:

Couldn’t say anything was worth saying we didn’t like. It was a great stay!
