Firstly, the photos on Booking.com are completely different from reality. Upon arrival, i was put in a room with a dirty carpet and a dirty bedspread, there is no air conditioning and there is only a fan of approximately 30cm, that looks like a toy. I also had my portable battery stolen. When I complained, the staff responded very rudely. I didn't file a complaint because I was already a bit afraid. I was completely disappointed with this hotel.

No air conditioning in 2026

This “hotel” isn’t anything more than a crappy motel. The pictures on the website are not at all accurate to the size or state of the rooms, the air conditioning was turned off years ago, and the front desk is no help at all. The fact that a hotel in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, in the year 2026, doesn’t have air conditioning is obscene, let alone the fact that never once is that fact mentioned until you get up to the room and see the “broken” unit. ~€700, non-refundable, for three nights in a shoebox and we checked out after night 1. Would give 0 stars if I could.

La camera fatiscente piccolissima ma sopratutto vecchia senza manutenzione lasciata andare , porte imbarcate che non si chiudono rubinetto del lavandino completamente rotto , phon non funzionante , cassaforte non funzionante c’era la ruggine dove andavano le pile , la parte davanti era rotta , riscaldamento a elettricità non funzionante, senza corrente , dentro l’armadio un calorifero elettrico , non c’era posto per mettere la biancheria un pezzo di cornicione della finestra era caduto , alcune lampadine non funzionanti , insomma non un tre stelle , una vera catapecchia sconsiglio vivamente (ho tutte le foto se servissero)

Staff was great and friendly. The only inconvenience was the lack of AC and the funky smell.
Pros:

Great location, near metro stations and in the middle of Le Marais, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and Notre Dame Cathedral

Cons:

The AC was not working, Paris was going through a heat wave and I had to do with a small fan.
The room smelled a bit humid and one corner of the ceiling had dark stain, not sure if it was mold.

La toilette dans un coin excentré de la sdb donc pas pratique pour l'assise.
