Pros:

I booked a room advertised as 37 m² with two beds, but upon arrival my family (three children) was given a tiny room with one bed. The reception told us there were no other rooms available. At 10:30 PM we had to cancel our reservation and find another hotel. Completely unacceptable — zero service and no respect for guests.

An overall very average resort at a very steep price. Would never stay there again.
Pros:

The reception area and restaurant at the main tower were nice.

Cons:

Restaurant: good food but really rushed service for the price of the meal.
Room: not enough lighting (no ceiling lighting and no desk lamp) which made working in the evening really hard
Hair dryer: the entire resort did not have a single hair dryer to cater for curly hair - only the standard weak ones from 30 years ago, without a nozzle were available.
Location: while not too far from the centre, it was very expensive to get to and from the conference centre.
Bedding: the matterass was too soft and the pillows were soft and cheap
Service: the staff struggled to understand and cater for any request. When I asked for a table lamp they sent two light bulbs, when I asked for a more powerful hair dryer they sent the same one, when I asked for some coffee they sent pod which did not fit the coffee machine in my room.
Resort fee: I was slapped with a USD 44/day 'resort fee' upon check out. This should be incorporated into the room rate to enable an honest and fair comparison with other options.

Love San Diego
Pros:

Our room was VERY comfortable! The bathrooms are nice and clean. The bed / pillows are some of the best I've ever slept in/on.

Cons:

Room Service left a lot to be desired. There was nothing special about it. We did not get salt/pepper. No tarter sauce with my fish n chips. The vingar had to be mixed with water, which I have never experienced before. I paid $81.00 for a subpar burger and fish-n-chips. However, it did arrive within 30 minutes.

Cons:

Rooms booked at 6pm but were not ready until 10:40 pm and 12:30am. First room reeked of marijuana and had no soap in the shower/bathroom. My family had been driving for 8 1/2 hours straight from grand canyon and just wanted to sleep

Great hotel for access to the airport
Pros:

The free shuttle service to and from the airport is great. The location of the hotel to the airport is also great, although the air traffic makes for a noisy atmosphere on site.

Efficient and Accomodating
Pros:

convenient. We only stayed for 4 hours !!! Needed to catch an early flight and the hotel was was very accommodating on getting us to the airport on time . Room was exactly what we requested

Great stay every room has a balcony rooms are beautiful
Pros:

The redone rooms that overlook the marina are exceptionally awesome! I love that there’s two pools at this hotel. Now there’s outdoor restaurants as well. Beds are comfortable rooms are big and beautiful. It’s nice to walk outside there.

Cons:

Overall, everything was great. I wish the outdoor restaurant by the pool had longer hours of operation.
