Location. Excellent staff. Clean.
The price for the room. Linens didn't feel great.
Very clean
Excellent location, very friendly atmosphere, clean room, very soft bed and all. Good value with almost no noise. Good responsive service.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. The front desk associate was consistently warm and friendly and they gave us a upgraded room. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job. Very good all around.
My only complaints had to do with extra charges: $40 for self-parking is a bit steep in a place where free parking is available all around (this isn't exactly the center of a big city), and the Peet's in the lobby charged some kind of "convenience fee" that was almost 6% of the charges. So $20 is what you can expect to pay for a croissant and coffee! When I asked, they said that it was required of them by the state (but I live in California and that did not make a lot of sense).
Clean beautiful facility with good food and sushi bar. Wine list was okay, parking was easy, and PEET's Coffee in the lobby. Fine pool and hot tub to make the stay easy. Logistics-wise great location and the light rail easily available if you don't want to drive! Good value on the whole!
A disappointing stay but was for a business conference so there wasn't an alternative choice.
What was good:
- Rooms were comfortable
- Well equipped gym (albeit it was v hot in there)
- Excellent food
Not so good:
- The cleanliness of my room was not good - as you can see in the pictures there was a lot of cobwebs on the inside of the window. Also there was paper left from a previous guest and I found hairs in the sink and bath on arrival
- Service at the bar was slow as it was so busy, we tried to order food and they said to ask a server but there was no one around so ended up going back to the bar
- I left my credit card at the bar on evening, when I asked at the front desk if anything had been handed in they said no and to check with the bar staff (no offer for them to check on my behalf). I checked with the bar staff who confirmed that yes it had been handed in the night before and left with the front desk. I then had to go back to the front desk an additional three times before I finally managed to get my card back! If I hadn't of kept chasing I don't think it would have been returned despite it having my name on it.
- On our last day it was lovely and sunny and we asked to have breakfast on one of the outdoor tables but was told it was locked and guests couldn't eat out there.
Overall an an average stay and I wouldn't stay here by choice next time.
Location
Shower was dirty carpet wasn’t vacuumed so I wonder if sheets were even clean at all
The Hyatt did an amazing job with our business meetings. We rented 8 meeting rooms and 40 hotel rooms. Their event staff was amazing. They were extremely accommodating and professional. They anticipated our needs before we asked. Everything was clean and the food was really good. I would highly recommend Hyatt if you are planning an event!
The hotel was very clean, it was staffed with very professional, and service-oriented employees. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Perfect place to stay for a convention. It is attached to the venue. No local stores nearby, but there is a marketplace downstairs for many things you might need, AND a great program in case you forgot to bring an item, such as toothpaste. Free from the front desk, and delivered to your room!
We have stayed at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, California 1 - 2 times a year the past 4 years for a dance competition and convention. We stay here for the convenience, as this is the host hotel.
Warning, the atmosphere is very loud and busy during dance competitions conventions.
The rooms are in need of renovation, although clean and comfortable.
The food and drinks are good, but expensive. A side of brussel sprouts, soup and one glass of wine was $54 including tax and tip. A small espresso martini was $23!
The beds are comfortable, which was the best part.
Rooms need renovation, food in the restaurants and coffee shop is not good, whole lobby is a huge restaurant area and smells on cooked meals. Not at all what you expect from Hyatt, in Europe I've been in much better hotels, it corresponds to mid-low class EU hotel.
Easy for business travelers, comfortable beds, elevators that make quick trips, convenient location, and solid amenities.
El personal muy amable y servicial
No tener microondas en el cuarto
The room was very nice, and the location is insane!! If you are going for a 49ers game this location cannot be beat!
Breakfast wise it is not included and is very expensive at the hotel even if you just shop at the little cafe. Also it can be very noisy after games but that is to be expected. Just something to note if you are booking on a Sunday and need to get to sleep early
