breakfast
Easy location, friendly staff, fair value
Bathroom sink faucet needs replaced
The staff was nice and they had a good breakfast option. Also they have the TVs you can sign into your Netflix which was nice.
We found a roach in our room. Bed was super old and uncomfortable. The bathroom had stains all over the shower, didn’t look like it had been cleaned.
The room was comfortable, in a good location since our destination was Madera Canyon. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was tasty. I liked that it was a hot breakfast.
Under construction no elevator had to stay in higher price room on 1st floor go outside down a long walk to get back into main lobby
Everything is good

All is very Good clean Good people to
It has the cafe/bar very convenient the food is great and reasonable prices…
The only thing I didn’t care for is this was the first time in a my several stays…. I had to return my food for the first time …I don’t know if there was a change in cooks/chef…but every else was extremely excellent services
I checked in around midnight due to my -regularly scheduled- flight arrival. This required somebody to be present at the front desk (I had to call ahead to arrange for this, as usually the front desk is not manned at that time). I don't know if the lady was unhappy with having to be available at that time or what the reason was, but I was assigned a room (#100, on first floor) that was unfit for guests (I imagine it is used by staff normally).
Take a look at the pictures:
- desk chair not only had half the vinyl cover flaked off and looked greasy and disgusting but was not functional either, height was no longer adjustable, it was good for maybe a child.
- bathroom sink drain was clogged, water would pool by just washing hands
- bathroom tile and grout was disgusting
- entrance door would not lock unless using maximum forced to pull the door
As soon as I entered the room I went back to reception to ask for a different room.
Lady claimed there are other rooms available but not in the same 'category' (pool view, which is not something that was described on the website when I booked and not something I care about; in fact I mentioned I don't care if I get downgraded, just wanted a normal room ready for a guest). Was told she cannot change the reservation to a different category because she doesn't know how to do it in the computer...When I complained about all this the next day, Jose seemed annoyed by my complaint and said he doesn't have a better room.
Btw, the 'pool view' was simply a view of a wall 2 yds away. Sliding doors did not have a regular see through shade, only the thick shade meant to be used to completely block the sun. This meant that you had to use that even during the day (hence dark inside the room) or else people walking outside by the pool area could peer inside the room.
On top of all this, room key stopped working the next day, I had to ask for a new one. After 24 hrs, that key again didn't work.
Hotel sent a survey form which I filled out providing all of the details I described here. The result? Best Western now assigned this hotel as one of my favorites.
Clearly there is no accountability of management of this hotel...
Avoid at all costs.
The location and cleanliness and except one staff member it would have been an excellent experience
Evening man on duty responding to my problem and his attitude
Check in and out was easy. We booked through trip advisor. The room was old, but clean. The bed was good. The hotel was quite. They have great coffee in the lobby at all hours which suits me when I wake up too early and can't find a restaurant open. The restaurant it's self is independent but treat you like a guest. Straight out of the lobby into the restaurant. The gym is minimal. I would book again.
Location. Pool and gym were clean and central
Some staff seemed tired and overwhelmed, especially the older woman at the front desk. She was unhelpful and seemed irritated she was there. I would just avoid her.
Clean and convenient
Two desk clerks explained why the Motel had to double charge on prepaid bookings made through Booking.com. On third day, a surprised clerk went through the entries, identified the double payment as an error and promised to correct the duplicate purchase sent to Navy Federal as mistaken overcharges, reduce the amount from $269 to $50 and identify it as a pending room deposit (in case of theft or destruction). (I occupied the room as a single). Thankfully she was successful. I managed to retain a copy of the entry paperwork just in case.
Very clean. Daily attendance.
TV, wifi, furniture unusable. Drawers not working, hardware missing. Tables unstable...
Breakfast was ok, Food that was prepared was ok at best. The Pastry was really good for both days, the biscuits and gravy were ok and so were the pancakes (one undercooked). The fruit did not taste fresh, we only tried two items off the "special menu" and would not order again if we had to pay. The room was comfortable, Bed (King) was very nice and clean (could use an extra pillows. The shower head was a very fine water streams which did not really seem to wet you down, if that makes sense. The door to Room was stuck and had to really push to get it open, all doors had a metal kick plate on bottom that you could tell was used to get the door open. The place was clean although had a weird musty clorox smell.
The staff were not very friendly except for the Guy (he was exceptional and wish he was there all the time) that was there when we checked in. The 2 ladies were not friendly at all and barely looked at you or greeted you. First day we arrived we had one water bottle (complimentary) for 2 guests, next asked for another one and the lady wanted to charge $2.00. Ask if it was complimentary for our daily stay and was informed only first day and only one bottle. Asked for a late checkout for Sunday morning, place was not busy but she would not help us, just got a reply that NO they cannot do that. Asked why? and reply was we are understaffed? Did not make sense but I just thanked her and left. At Checkout I asked if anything else was needed for Checkout, got a "You need to be checked out by 12", I replied I am just asking if anything else is needed for me to checkout, she replied with "no and just put your room key there in slot". Traveled to many places and hotels and I have to say again, the 2 ladies at front desk at just rude and not helpful at all.
