A change from the routine of big chains.
Pros:

This facility was a breath of fresh air from the ginormous, impersonal hotel chains. The "reception" was a 5-foot desk with a helpful person sitting behind it. No lines to check in or out. The hotel is compact. No mile-long hallways to walk or 30 floors to climb. The room was on the small side but no more so than many others. Breakfast was modest, but enjoyable. No expensive valet parking. You can find street parking if you look. I always found something on California St, a five minute walk. Oh, and the best part.Not only they welcome pets, they do something I had never seen before. NO pet fees! At a time when pet fees are exceeding $150, this is unheard of. This was actually the reason I picked them. Definitely would recommend.

Cons:

Thee is not much of shopping or restaurants within walking distance that I could see.

Cons:

We could not use the parking garage due to height of our vehicle and we could not adjust thermostat in our room and it was warm during the night. Breakfast was mediocre.

Would love to come back and stay again due to the charm, comfort, and hospitality.

It overall was great stay minor comments will not stop me from returning , absolutely will be back !
Pros:

Fabulous location , felt safe and secure staying alone. Walking distance to restaurants. Staff was so friendly, wine hour was great, and breakfast was good as well.

Cons:

Some maintenance on room furnishings could be used . (I.e. drapes frayed , lampshades , painting in areas noticeably needed

Excellent service
Pros:

Staff were excellent. We didn't arrive until 3am and very pleased that they were able to check us in. Small issue with the aircon but immediately fixed.
