Quite bad
Pros:

Beautiful outdoor scenery but our room is quite disappointing. Its small, outdated, and Hideous honestly.
It feels gross and cheap. There was hair left on the shower walls and a crusty yellow substance on the wall and counter...
I slept horribly because the bed was so uncomfortable and the air was stuffy.
Ive stayed at hotels that were cheaper, or the same price, and even those were much better.

Theres beautiful views , great spas, and better restaurants elsewhere in this area.
Not only is every amenity available a separate fee but you will also be charged a surprise "service fee" regardless if you use all or any of the amenities.

Customer service was lacking to say the least .

Hopefully they can one day put their greed to use by making their rooms and customer service feel a little more luxury and less like some cheap hotel.

Not what I imagined.
Pros:

We stayed in the main inn. It smelled stuffy and old. The food was not good. We also had a bad experience with a bug crawling on my daughter’s bed. We called and they sent an engineer to help. An engineer. We were unable to sleep the entire rest of the night. This was a surprise for my daughter’s Birthday. But that was ruined.

Great retreat for couples
Pros:

My wife and I spent a few days celebrating our birthdays and the staff at Grove Pine were perfect! Add in a view that's world class and then enjoy expertly crafted drinks with fabulous food.
Rooms are well appointed, bathrooms are comfortable and well lit.
The architecture is the hinge pin of this property. Not only situated well in the landscape, the interiors have been consistently freshened with tradition in mind. The Prairie/Craftsman style is so well integrated that life moves a bit more slowly as you walk through and enhoy the property!

A historic gem in Asheville
Pros:

Th Omni Grove Park Inn was the perfect hotel to experience Asheville. The views, historic feeling of the lodge, service and amenities were perfect for our stay. It is a great location, the restaurants where we ate, Sunset Terrace and Blue Ridge for breakfast, were great. The pool is lovely as is the spa. While the rooms may not be the most modern, they were well appointed, clean and felt appropriate for the hotel. We very much enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our annual tradition
Pros:

We go every year to Omni Grove because we love the food and the spa. Everyone treats us so well here, with kindness and warmth and easy going conversations. Staff will make you feel very welcome and at home here. We adore the spa and make a visit every time for the day with a massage. We love it here and recommend it to friends.

Grove Park Inn needs accounting help!
Pros:

Beautiful resort but their guest customer services surrounding their billing is lacking. I was overcharged by A LOT and had to figure it all out with little help from Omni staff. Bought a PGA package to stay and golf and the desk was basically unaware of the perks of the package and how we were to redeem them. The restaurants, spa, and views were amazing, but the billing staff put a big damper on our anniversary celebration.

Unexpected expenses!
Pros:

This was our 4th stay at the Grove Park. Its atmosphere, location, and level of service are exceptional. It was very noisy and crowded in the Great Hall because of a convention, but staff were unfailingly friendly and professional. What soured our stay somewhat was the $35 per day charge to self-park. Other than using the more expensive valet service, there was no alternative. We were a captive audience! The fee to charge my electric car was unexpected and excessive, more expensive than using gasoline.

Delighted
Pros:

The uniqueness of the property drew us to Grove Park and we were not disappointed. From the bellboy to the fine dining experience we were met with customer friendly service. The history of the hotel is reflected in the furnishings and decor, yet very modern day conveniences were available too. The quaint elevator experience reminded us of the history and the service of years past. So fun! We did visit the spa for information and next time will surely plan ahead and make reservations there. And our anniversary surprise gift was way over the top - so appreciated!

Disappointing Visit
Pros:

The Omni Grove Park Inn was extremely overbooked, no spa services available the entire time we were there - including a day pass. The food was marginal and reservations were late and slim. The outdoor pool had zero seats available to just enjoy sitting poolside. They are more concerned with filling the resort and making money rather than being able to have services and space available for guest who traveled a distance to enjoy a few days.
