It is like a farytale
Pros:

This is history. It is like being in a museum, so much to look at everywhere. You can feel royal for a day ore two. The restaurant is high quality.

Somewhere different to most hotels, always a treat.
Pros:

Front reception staff very helpful and friendly we even were able to stay in the same room we have had before, which made us comfortable.
Enjoyed the surrounding Forrest walk as on the last visit threat of fires prevented that.
The setting is idyllic. Breakfast was incredible, (but sadly we were still full from dinner) .Parking is easy and free, even with a low ground hogging car !

Cons:

In such a historic building there is no air con in rooms, but we had the shadier side which helped.

Pros:

Il palazzo è bellissimo e vivere l'esperienza a un prezzo accessibile è stato fantastico. Certo che d'altra parte non fi si deve aspettare un 5 stelle nel senso moderno del termine.

aussergewöhnliches Hotel - Schlafen wie der König
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ein sehr beeindruckendes Gebäude. Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen im Restaurant (Dinner) sehr gut, nicht ganz günstig, aber Preis-Leistung passt. Tolles Frühstück mit der größten Auswahl, die wir in Portugal angetroffen haben.

Cons:

Die Zimmer haben keine Klimanlage. Im Sommer wird es daher schon sehr warm. Das Badezimmer war alt, Standard aus den 70er Jahren, Möbel im Bad erinnerten etwas an eine Klinik.

Stora rum. Spännande byggnad.

Cons:

Omoderna badrum från 60-tal. Läget är fint i parken, men det krävs en utmanande promenad för att nå närmaste lilla stad. Resturangen hade fått dåliga recensioner sedan tidigare så vi testade istället resturang i Luso.

Pros:

Beautiful Palace an Architectural gem. Lovely walks through the Bussaco forest around the Palace. Staff were all amazing.

Cons:

No AC in bedrooms - difficult to install given its historic interiors. Dinner was overpriced given the size of portions:€19 for two of the smallest Scallops I have ever seen.

Endroit exceptionnel pour qui aime les vieilles pierres et l'histoire.

L'endroit est incroyable et plein de charme. Les chambres et SDB ont gardé un aspect désuet mais tout est propre et confortable. Le restaurant est un incontournable

El edificio y el enclave son directamente inmejorables. El desayuno bueno, el trato del personal también pero creo que las habitaciones aún respetando el,palacio podrían ofrecer algo más de comodidad
