Our stay was a real surprise in many regards

Beautiful hotel, location and wonderful staff but the heating issue did spoil the experience a bit.
Pros:

The room was great, the staff were wonderfull and the restaurant was brilliant.

Cons:

The heating in our room didn't work for over 24 hours and it was a freezing. We were moved to another room but that did dull the experience somewhat.

Great location with comfortable accomodation.
Pros:

Great location with an old age feel. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

I felt the breakfast was poor value given the quality of the hotel. The portions were small and to be honest the pancakes looked and tasted like they were out of the packet.

The old building

No menu’s for the bar and restaurant and charged me for a chocolate out of the mini bar which was not even in the fridge or in the room
