The bed was comfortable (good sheets, pillows). The staff were great! Friendly - and they kept the room cleaned and tidy.
My room smelled moldy and there were definitely signs of mold in the shower and water damage on the ceiling. The sink was outside the bathroom and there was no escaping the moldy smell with a closed door. If there was a water issue, the room should have been redone to avoid the lingering effects. I burned a scented candle each night. Also, I took an accessible room because the type of room I reserved was only available on the first floor and I don't feel safe in that situation, especially for the nights I was alone. I did call the front desk on my way to the hotel to state I was going to check in later - and I asked for a higher floor on my reservation request. I feel like that should have been honored. I realise the hotel was busy - the reason I could not change rooms - but setting the room aside seems a simple request.

The breakfast was excellent and enjoyed by many of the guest. The location is excellent for getting to other places as well. The room was excellent and well maintained. The staff was professional and welcoming too.
Great stay for us and this hotel will be our go to place when we are back in the Chicago area visiting again.
The breakfast options were nice. The staff was nice.
I didn't really understand the placement of the TV in the king suite room. It looks like the intention was to put it so you could see it from either side of the room, but it actually made it so you couldn't really see it from either side.
There was no bedding for the pull-out couch so we had to go down to the office and they gave us the wrong bedding. We had to go back down so that was frustrating that it wasn't already in the room and then we kept getting the wrong stuff to put on the bed.

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
Toilet was leaking. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. Hotel could use a bit of updating or a remodel.
