Great location; well appointed rooms.
No aircon; very hard to find somewhere in the room to dry laundry; minibar was barely below room temperature; some staff were extremely helpful(especially the bellmen), some wait staff were abrupt; lots of very loud American groups.
A parte la camera assegnata (n.17) la struttura è di buon livello
La camera assomigliava più ad una locale deposito che una camera di albergo.
Really comfortable bed lovely breakfast staff very friendly and helpful will stay there again
Great location
Bar food ok, syeak frites tough, rooms too hot in heat wave, room 212, advertised unlimited access to pool and spa facilities, but found out this did not apply to u18.
No bath robes and slippers either.
Not 5 star in a hot summer day.
Staff amazing.Spa lovely location fantastic.
Service charge added to bill without being told in advance.
Les plats et desserts du restaurant digne d'un 5 étoiles. Excellent !
Well maintained

Our room was clean and tidy. All the staff were very polite and helpful. They also treated us to drinks when they heard it was our anniversary. The burger we had for dinner was truly amazing. Breakfast was also very good. I recommend it to everyone. I'm thinking of going again.
Our room was very far back. Also, I was a bit cold because the heater was turned off at night. Maybe it was a mistake, I don't know, but the heater was turned back on in the morning.
Everything
Beds are small
Our room had an excellent view, but being on the top floor it was quite a small room, plus it had lowered head height space, which meant I had to crawl from the foot of the bed to get in, or I'd have cracked my head open!!!
Pool was lovely, and so was the jacuzzi. Nice seating area out the front of the hotel so you could enjoy a drink while watching the sun set.
Head height as above. Breakfast menu was quite lacking in choice, fruit in a bowl seemed to have been there a few days and didn't look appetising. I found the porridge too stodgy, and the scrambled egg tasted like hadn't been made freshly. The salmon was superb though. One of the toasters wasn't working, and the other was so very slow!
Very friendly staff the hotel and surrounding area is beautiful
Beautiful location. Facilities were fabulous including the spa.
Really want to commend the staff. Everyone friendly, helpful. Outstanding.
Room 201 was a bit cramped for 2 but had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
Restaurant very expensive but we ate in the bar.
Food/service great. Wine very expensive.
Property very nice only problem we had was the room was disappointing
Very small and bed we had the room changed no problem the housekeeper manager Rosie was very helpful and understanding and a great help very pleasant lovely girl
The breakfast on the first morning was cold and overcooked my husband had full Scottish very disappointed
The Staff were excellent and so friendly and helpful. The Rabbit Restaurant was exceptional as was the Seal Bar
No negatives
I visited Marine Troon for 2 days for a solo trip. I loved every moment of my stay. I knew I’d have a nice stay and be able to enjoy the pool and beach area. What I didn’t expect was just how relaxed and calm I felt. Each and every employee is kkkd, welcoming and offers served with ease and grace. You feel at home at Marine Troon and part of a family. I would recommend a solo stay for anyone wishing to recharge. Of course Troon is home to golf and I loved sitting on the terrace and watching the golfers play the course. I must also mention the food and drinks which I enjoyed too. I ate in both the bar and the rabbit. I would love to return one day and will recommend to all I meet who are looking for a luxurious stay with ease, grace. Thank you xx
We have stayed a number of times at The Marine and it is always an excellent experience. Very comfortable, food wonderful and excellent staff.
Think the furniture in the rooms probably needs a bit of updating but not a big issue.
Location was beautiful even in the rain.
Staff were warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough.
Bathroom was tight space.
