Roll On Next Season....
Pros:

We found it absolutely charming. I'm sure that like many before us our visit was for a four-day County Championship match, and the proximity of the hotel to the ground couldn't be better. Plenty of car-parking and able to safely leave the car for the entire duration of the match. We had one of the turret rooms, which was huge with a large and very comfy bed. The staff were all fabulous from check-in to leaving, and a substantial breakfast set us up for each day's cricket. Plenty of eateries and drinkeries within minutes' walk, try particularly the De Baga Indian at the end of the road, Santorini's, and the beautiful New Headingley Club local to the ground. A cosy bar, with some great cricket memorabilia, for a nightcap on return and convivial chat with like-minded friends old and new. All in all, a superb four days (despite our Team not getting the result we wanted!) For a hotel to get the top mark it should be exceptional; and in our opinion it was. Yes, roll on next season indeed, presuming we're both still in the same division....

Pros:

- Locatie: groene omgeving, restaurants en bars vlakbij, vlotte verbinding naar het centrum van Leeds.
- Kamer zelf: heel ruim en licht
- Ontbijt: heel lekker 'full English breakfast

Cons:

Ijskastje in de kamer en iets betere douche hadden ons verblijf nóg beter gemaakt.

Great place to stay, great location and restaurants and walks in the area.
Pros:

Room good, excellent quiet location and friendly staff. Good Tea/Coffe/Hot Chocolate and 1 pkt biscuits. Great car parking. Good hot water in the bathroom. Reasonable walk (or drive) to the Headingly Ground. Lovely area to explore, plus the Ridgeway Walk. Not far to a bus stop into Leeds City Centre. Sainsbury and Morrisons in the area. Some restaurants closed on a Monday, but plenty open. Grwat if visiting student family members. Quite a few guests at breakfast, but the hotel was nice and quiet. One staff member gave me ideas where to walk and there is an interesting history guide to the area.

Cons:

Cobwebs in the Lantern in the stairwell. Would have liked no lift on the details, as placed on the 2nd floor.
