Lovely hotel!
Pros:

Great location and good sized room. Staff were absolutely lovely. Just what we needed for one night.

Cons:

Shower had very low pressure but not a big deal. Also, breakfast was very early so we went elsewhere.

First impressions matter
Pros:

Location, breakfast & staff were great.

Cons:

Arrived at hotel and given key to room. Headed up to room only for the door to be being propped open by a pile of dirty towels. Not a great start, but rest of the room looked ok, so my husband simply took the towels down to reception.

Bathroom floor badly stained and just didnt look very clean... it was at that point I noticed a bug (potentially a cockroach) on the ceiling of the bathroom. This was mentioned to Reception who I think (at least I hope) organised to get rid of while we were out.

Then discovered that the window in the room couldn't be closed either. This meant regularly being disturbed by planes- it's on the airport flightpath.

We considered leaving, but alternative places were all more expensive then the £150 we paid for the night... all n all, not worth the price tag, wouldn't recommend & won't be back.

Pros:

We booked room for overnight stay to catch the cricket at Headingley. The location is ideal, parking on site, approximately 10-15 minute walk to the ground. Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable.

Cons:

This is more likely an issue with the Booking.com app. I booked the room via the app and specifically requested the room be made up as a "twin". However when we arrived the room was made up as a "double", staff said that there was no mention at their end of the room being a twin. This resulted in us having to separate the beds ourselves as only one staff member on.
Not a massive issue and we resolved it, but it appears information is not being passed on.

Pros:

Comfy bed, large room with livingroom separate so great value for money, AWESOME shower too

Cons:

Few things need upgrading, just to make more visually pleasing without ruining the oldy world vibe
