Pros:

There is a wonderful new SPA with three pools (one indoor, long enough for swimming training) and several saunas. A very good Gym with plenty of training options. Take time for it. Highly recommended if the price is OK.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel and grounds, spacious room, great spa.

Cons:

The hotel doesn’t cater to families really well. Swimming pools are only accessible for an hour and a half in the morning and then in the afternoon - I realised the indoor pool at the spa will have specific hours for kids, but as all the pools (and there are 3) are accessible via the spa, it meant we couldn’t access any of the pools. The time slot in the morning is from 8-9:30am, but on weekends breakfast only starts at 7:30, so realistically we could only go to the pool once a day, for an hour. When we tried to eat at the “Botanica” restaurant, we were the first ones to arrive. We were told they can only make poached or fried egg, but asked if there’s any chance to make scrambled eggs for the kids (2yo and a baby). we were told it won’t be possible as it would “slow the service down” (again, there were only 2 tables at the restaurant at that time). For that price point I expected the hotel to notice more to the little details and be more accommodating. It’s probably lovely for couples.

Lovely experience.
Pros:

Lovely location, wonderful grounds, lovely food and drinks. Room clean snd spacious. Spa was excellent.

Cons:

Just the room cost.
It is what it is these days but does feel too much. For a special occasion or one off then great.
