Very enjoyable break overall, had lovely time touring the area. Would return.
Pros:

All meals were very good, good quality, breakfast was good with large choice.. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large rooms with plenty of light, comfy beds, plenty hot water. Lovely grounds. Very quiet location, peaceful.

Cons:

Couldn't locate a lift, however staff helped my relative with luggage to room. Dining areas were rather cold. Rooms were a little dusty/musty on arrival. Better signage to show entrance to hotel. Very bad and deep potholes in car park entrance. Dinner menu rather expensive.

ok
Pros:

quick reply when we knew we would be checking in late

Cons:

Breakfast wasnt served until 08:00, which meant we had to have a continental breakfast, this was nice but a cooked option, bacon roll, sausage sandwhich would have helped start the day with a coffee.

Met our requirements for an overnight stay.
Pros:

Good location for access to the NEC. Room was in an annex, clean & comfortable, but distant from the parking & external access only.

Cons:

Noise from the event being held at the hotel, though we requested a quiet room.
Breakfast was OK but could have improved the way it was served.

1 night stay couple and child
Pros:

The grounds off the hotel was absolutely gorgeous, the room was spacious and able to accommodate the 3 of us.
We didn't manage to have breakfast as little one was still asleep so unsure what that is like.

Gorgeous wedding venue.

Cons:

Although the pool was gorgeous to look at it was outdated, There was no signs to show how deep the pool was

There was not enough chairs to sit on
The showers was small and there was only 2 and not very clean.

Would stay again regardless of required updating
Pros:

A really lovely period property with pretty grounds, good food and friendly staff

Cons:

The property could do with some maintenance and updating to bring it back to its former glory. The pool was lovely but a bit warn out. as were public areas and furniture.
