The choice at breakfast is very good. Plant milks were available on request and coffee was lovely. The staff serving breakfast were friendly.
The location and grounds are beautiful.
The hotel in general is in need of TLC. The draws in room had broken handles and the luggage rack was broken. The swimming pool needs renovation as there was flaking paint on the columns. The changing room was very small with showers which have a large step up not suitable for clients with disabilities.
The receptionist was not friendly and gave us no details about time of breakfast or where it is served. Literally handed us the room key cards with no welcoming information.
Atmosphärisches altes Herrenhaus mit Park und Schwimmbad
Gemütliche Bar

Stilvolle Zimmer
Die Matratze war toll
Es gibt sogar einen Mammutbaum auf dem Gelände
Liegt mittig auf der Fahrt nach/von Irland
Der Service könnte teilweise freundlicher sein
The breakfast was amazing!
Staff were lovely and the facilities (swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi) were superb.
We were there on a weekday so had the pool almost completely to ourselves.
Nothing
Very pretty grounds, clean and good facilities.
Spa was dated but still quant.
Tribute evening. 3 course meal + show = £45. Don't like mozzarella, asked for a second bread toll. Treated like a begger! Terrible attitude from waitress. £45 from a 4 star hotel that can not give you a bread roll....well won't come again!
Celine is amazing! She works so hard, is always smiling and makes everyone feel welcome. She is a real credit to the hotel and helped make our stay extra special. Thank you, Celine! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just want to say had an amazing stay. What a lovely friendly place , the staff go above and beyond. The hotel is a very warm and cozy place to stay. A hiden little charm can not believe it was built in the 15th century. A wonderful piece of history.
Have stayed many times at nailcote with my partner amazing place, lovely staff, the food great and the peacefulness when your away to relax for the weekend is spectacular the facilities are wonderful especially the pool and sauna. I am staying again in a few weeks and I’m looking forward to it🙂
So disappointing with this day the whole Hotel needs a refurbishment but the rooms are just shockingly dirty. We had a Maintenance issue with the sink not emptying we reported it. We were just told that yes that sometimes happens if we look underneath the basin we should be able find a plug to empty it because they get stuck
I think that’s a maintenance job not ours.
the shower was absolutely disgusting hairs, mould, everywhere.
The carpets are absolutely filthy.
health and safety really need to have a look into the Hotel
corridor doors and fire doors are beingpropped open by can bottles the grounds have got bottles left on tables which had not be collected from the night before the staff in the restaurant are so understaffed they are running round trying to do everything management need to take a hard look at the whole hotel, especially the staffing issues and Cleanliness issues
we had a wonderful 4 night stay, 5 adults + 3 children, excellent breakfast and food, great location, very professional and friendly staff. excellent value for money😀👍☀️
Setting, lovely corner room (11) & pool. Friendliest staff I’ve encountered in a hotel but not particularly effective
Menu and quality of food at breakfast and in the bar was very poor for a hotel of this calibre.
It’s an events hotel so the noise and chaos is dreadful. On our third night there was a huge prom and a tribute night. We were told we’d have a quiet room and not part of either - we weren’t & there was no apology.
Also, golfers seem more important than hotel guests.
Pool & changing rooms need some tlc
