Walk to downtown scottsdale
The only thing that jumps out as being bad is that this place seems to discriminate in their hiring. It is pretty obvious that they specifically only hire extremely attractive females to work the front desk.
Once again the staff at this place goes above and beyond the typical. I needed to book the room at a very late hour, which can cause some problems, but Aisha was immediately responsive and lightning quick getting me checked in and I was able to get it done without any problems. Every time I stay here the staff is just fantastic.
Breakfast was ok could use improvement.
Their wasn't very much of a selection of breakfast items.
Great staff. Combo of location and value are easily the best in the state.
Nothing at F-ing all. This place is leaps and bounds better than its price range competitors.
Not much.
I paid ahead, at booking.com, and was charged a second time on my arrival. When the mistake was pointed out, they said they would do a refund. This was on June 23rd and no refund has been made as of July 9th. The shower had used soap, in the soap tray, I never did get the WiFi to work and the TV was in and out. The last 2 probably could have been fixed if I'd felt up to going to or calling the office, and I did not.
Location. Staff. Price. All A+
This is the best value per dollar of any hotel in the state, as far as I have seen. The only thing I would change if it was a perfect world is that I would like to be able to check in after midnight because sometimes I don't get in until late, and you can't really do that at this place.
Buen precio
Tuve problemas para solicitar la factura, pero se resolvio
For anyone reading these reviews to help them make a decision on where to stay- Keep in mind that there is no IQ test required to post reviews here. There are several bad reviews regarding the price and quality of this place, but if you rent a room for the same price anywhere else in the Phoenix area, you will find yourself surrounded by cockroaches, fentanyl zombies, and barely-clothed women who are all named after various gem stones and dessert ingredients. If you are expecting a personal omelet chef for breakfast, Eqypt's finest linens, and a 24/7 concierge- you can book a hotel that offers all of those things right here in Scottsdale, and it will cost you anywhere from $900-$1,700 per night depending on the season. Anyone who is paying under $70 for a safe, clean hotel room with working appliances and air conditioning and is complaining about it shouldn't be your go-to source for recommendations.
One time I went to get a cup of coffee I the breakfast table in the office and the coffee was empty and I had to wait about 3 minutes. One time.
The front desk staff were all great and friendly people, thats about the only positive.
Room smelled heavily of Marijuana when we entered. There were hair bits from men shaving all over the shower, all over the sink. The sink didnt drain properly. It was clogging just from washing hands and i had to move the drain stopper up and down to get the water to go.
My daughter refused to stay in the room and chose to stay with her grandma instead.
Breakfast was your choice of instant oatmeal, nutrigrain bar, or artificial flavored and preserved muffins. With coffee or tea.
For a central location in Scottsdale, next to restraunts costing $40-60 per person, its a bit of a dive. Like a motel 6 on an empty freeway heading through New Mexico.
