Super pied à terre pour quelques nuits à Londres

Très bel Hôtel. Emplacement central. Super service. Le petit-déjeuner côté brasserie est excellent ! tout est de grande qualité. Mention spécial pour les concierges et le bar.

Zimmer in der gehobenen Kategorie sehr gut! DE-TV! Alle sehr zuvor kommend! Die Bar "SCARFE" ist der Hammer!

Cons:

Preise zum Teil zu hoch, beim á la carte Frühstück kommt man sehr schnell auf 100 Pfund

Rooms are very comfortable and silent.

Cons:

“Breakfast included” means an allowance of £32 per person, which basically corresponds to two eggs, a capuccino and some fruits. Although very close to the metro and bus line, there is nothing much to see if you like to walk around.

Great hotel. Dishonest pricing.
Pros:

Great staff. Andreas (I think) was lovely guy at check in. The guy at Holburn restaurant check in was fantastic. We almost queued for Scarfes but he came out and made sure we didn’t have to wait. Really nice guy.

Cons:

The addition of a ‘Discretionary service charge’ is completely dishonest. I travel lots and know it’s common but since when do you hide the cost of a nights stay? It’s just not etiquette. Just pay your employees what they deserve and don’t ask the customer to make the decision to argue or not. For this reason I won’t stay again.
