The lication was nice
I didn't like that the images of the rooms look a decent size but my room and bed was super small. I felt like I was in a box. For two people we couldn't open our suitcases without tripping over them. Our first room smelled like an old mildew house. They changed us but it was just not comfortable it was so small.
Beautiful building, very comfortable, clean and quiet room, helpful front desk and housekeeping staff. Nice selection of breakfast items. Excellent location in Old City.
Television in breakfast area was noisy. More fresh fruit would be nice.
Great location; a perfect 10! The standard queen room is so small it is claustrophobic! We upgraded to a King Room which worked for us and was very clean. Breakfast was sufficient, but nothing outstanding. The night front desk staff was not helpful at all. When I would ask a question, he would respond, he did not know. You must park your own car which is about 2-3 blocks away. If the weather is inclement or you have issues walking this could be a problem. There is not much space in the front of the hotel to park and drop off your luggage.
We liked the wine and cheese on Wednesday, but wish that was offered every evening. Cookies were available in the afternoon, but they are just store bought. Home baked would be so much nicer.
The location of the hotel can’t be beat. It’s within walking distance of all the important sites to see in Philly. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was great. The room was small but it didn’t matter because we didn’t spend a lot of time in it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat
No wine glasses, no cork screen, toilet seat was loose, shower door handle wa loose, all reported to the useless front desk. Asked them to arrange a taxi, they directed me to a tablet to input my needs. This is not a premier hotel!!
My husband and I spent 5 nights over the July 4th holiday at Independence Park Hotel. We were traveling with a relative who needed a lot of extra attention and assistance. The staff were warm, caring, competent, and professional. I can’t say enough good things about Vanessa, Debbie, Gwen, Julian, and Craig.
The hotel was ideally located for exploring the historic sites and museums, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was good. The rooms are very small, but I would definitely return to this wonderfully-run boutique hotel.
Very convenient to Old City Philadelphia, historic areas and very good restaurants.
It’s clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was great I love the oatmeal and all the different toppings, the eggs, the fresh fruit hot chocolate and all
Wonderful hotel near restaurants and stores. Very close to I-95. The rooms were clean, they had snacks in the lobby and free breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly. Parking was a lot cheaper than any other hotel. My only critique is that the beds are not true to size. Our room was a queen room but the bed was full size.
Great location right in the middle of the historic area. You can walk to all attractions. Hotel is clean and up to date. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was more than I expected with good options hot and cold.
