Excellent downtown stay.
Pros:

Location was great. Near the downtown shops of Banff but far enough to avoid the traffic and crowds to get in and out of banff. Breakfast was also good so that you don't have to worry where to have breakfast. A packed breakfast could also be requested of you are leaving the hotel very early for your tours to lake Moraine or Lake Louise. Room was spacious as well for our family of 4. It was also nice to have the gas station right in front of the hotel.

Cons:

Rooms were a bit dark. Outlets should be in more strategic locations in the room.

This hotel is worth 1/10 of price. This was my worst part of 8 day trip around Canada.
Pros:

Nothing!!! Break fast was terrible. Apple, Banana, Bread, Cake, artificial fruit juice and cold egg! Location is not bad but Banff is a small city and good location does not mean anything. You will feel choking in that small area.

Cons:

I was a fan of Best western hotel before. But is is worst Western plus hotel!!! Terrible dirty underground terrible parking, old elevator with a scarring door without roper sensor, no one in reception and you should wait too much (few staff, reception staff is cleaning restaurant at the same time!), smallest breakfast saloon, worst breakfast ever seen. We had a 8 day trip and this hotel was our worst experience in whole trip. 2 star is too much for this hotel. I paid 700 $ for one night!!!! Do you believe? For a 2 star dirty hotel that is worth 50 $ ! It is a pet friendly hotel, but you can not bring your pet in restaurant, you can not put it alone in room (what can you do for breakfast?!!!) , there is nothing for pet unless every night fee!!!

Hotel bom para explorar Banff
Pros:

Hotel bem localizado, próximo a avenida principal de Banff. Tem garagem no subsolo. Atendentes bem prestativos.

Cons:

Café da manha simples. Estrutura do hotel mediana, elevador com porta com sensor quebrado.
