Pros:

Super hotel with brilliant views and top location. Very close to ueno station which gets you most places in Tokyo easily. Loads of food places very close by. Room was actually not as small as we feared (had corner room). Great views as the actually rooms are only on the high floors. Breakfast was mainly Japanese style with a few western items. Great staff who spoke good English. Highly recommended.

Pros:

The hotel’s location is excellent and convenient for transportation and shopping, close to Ueno Station, Okachimachi Station, Ameyoko Market, and the Takeya building.

Cons:

There is no complimentary drinking water provided daily. The breakfast could have been better.

Building alludes to premier accommodation but in fact VERY basic!
Pros:

Best part is the view from the Bedroom over the city. Reception Staff are friendly and helpful. Able to assist with storage of luggage.

Cons:

After having stayed in other hotels nearby. Realised the standard is generally not clean, bed mattress very poor, synthetic sheets , pillows past use Very basic amenities available not provided in room. No instant coffee ! The room is NOT thought out efficiently. Bathrooms lack a hook or something to hang . Carpets stained in main corridors.
