A great base to explore Kanazawa
Pros:

The rooms were a generous size. We had a double room on the 9th floor that had very comfortable beds and pillows, plus a table and 2 chairs. Bonus was a washing machine in the room. The breakfast options varied each day - mostly Japanese style - and were delicious (though some things like the fried chicken were cold). The hotel had lots of little extras available near reception like toiletries, tea bags etc, and great quality hair driers. In terms of location - it was a 10 min taxi or bus ride to Kanazawa station, short walk to the Samurai district, 15 mins walk to the incredible Kenroku-en garden. Would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced compared to other cities in Japan.

Cons:

Maybe a few more cereal and yoghurt options.

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage in Kanazawa
Pros:

Pros:

We stayed during Silver Week, so the hotel was very busy, but it was a great base for exploring Kanazawa. The location is excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helped us with some phone calls we needed to make about another booking on our trip. We also appreciated that we could arrange a luggage forwarding service from the reception desk. Highly recommended.
