Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency Portland. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. I appreciated the overall quality of the accommodations and enjoyed my time at the hotel. There were a few minor areas for improvement, particularly with housekeeping, but overall I was satisfied with my stay and would consider staying here agaIn.

The location is extremely convenient, especially for anyone attending an event at the Oregon Convention Center, and it is also a great base for exploring Portland.

Front desk people were very helpful. Room was very comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the south, facing the convention center and bridges. TV worked well. We called and requested extra coffee cups and they came quickly.

Each encounter I had at the Hyatt Convention Center was very pleasant. Check in was a breeze and parking was abundant and easy to access. The room was amazing - so clean and inviting. The housekeeping staff did such a great job, and my room was always so well kept. The access to the Oregon Convention Center and the MAX train are so convenient. The bartenders in the hotel lobby bar were just great - welcoming, inviting, friendly, and professional all at the same time. Check out was simple and hassle free and this trip reminded me why Hyatt is my first choice wherever I travel.

Great location, super convenient, and perfect for an easy stay in Portland. The Hyatt Regency sits right next to the Convention Center, literally steps away, which made getting to events effortless. One of the best parts is how easy it is to get around — you can take the MAX light rail straight into downtown, and it’s quick, clean, and stress‑free.

Once you’re settled in, you’re surrounded by good food options within walking distance. Pine State Biscuits is close enough for a morning walk (and absolutely worth it), and Burgerville is right there for a fast, reliable bite. The area feels safe, easy to navigate, and perfect if you want to explore without needing a car.

Overall, the Hyatt Regency Portland delivered a smooth, convenient stay with great access to transit, food, and the Convention Center. A solid choice for anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful place and clean

Excellent hotel with great location for the Oregon Convention Center. Very comfortable beds; great bathroom designed for privacy with a large door separating that area from the beds. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and kind.

Hotel is classy, comfortable, very convenient. Excellent guest service was provided by the front desk, by the Food service staff, and by those working in the Market for on-the-go food. Raven, at the front desk, was especially helpful in obtaining our discounted tickets to the Japanese garden. Ashlee, at the front desk, was also very helpful and courteous.

Great hotel. Nice perc having max train ticket included with stay. Great breakfast in BBQ restaurant. I recommend the breakfast tacos.
