I needed a quiet place to rest between a tight schedule of meetings. My room was located toward the back of the building and was surprisingly peaceful despite being in the center of town. The bed was firm and comfortable, the bathroom was pristine, and the morning buffet had a good espresso machine.
The wardrobe space was a bit limited. It's perfectly fine for a short 2-or 3-night stay, but might feel a little tight if you are staying for a couple of weeks with a lot of suits.
If you want to be where the action is, this is it. We walked to jazz clubs, craft beer pubs, and late-night noodle spots all within a 5-minute radius. The room itself was very stylish and clean, and the air conditioning was ice-cold perfect after a night out dancing
Because the hotel is in such a central, buzzing area, you can hear a faint hum of city traffic from the street-facing rooms. It didn't keep us awake, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs
Returning to Saigon after many years, I wanted a place that felt nostalgic yet modern. Sky Gem Central nailed it. The location is deeply connected to old Saigon, yet the room amenities like the rainfall shower and smart TV were completely up to date. The receptionists spoke excellent English and were incredibly polite
The lighting in the room is designed to be warm and atmospheric, which is great for relaxing, but it felt a little too dim when I was trying to read a book at night.
I booked a night here just to change scenery and unwind. The customer service was top-notch from the moment I stepped in. The room had a warm, inviting ambiance, and the mattress was exceptionally plush. I spent the afternoon wandering the beautiful alleys nearby and treating myself to great food
The hotel enforces a strict 2:00 PM check-in time. I arrived around 1:30 PM and my room wasn't quite ready, but they let me store my bags and grabbed me a glass of refreshing welcome tea while I waited.
We loved the vibe of this neighborhood! There are so many cute boutique cafes and spa places right on Dong Du and Dong Khoi streets. The hotel rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were modern with great hot water pressure, and the price was incredibly reasonable for being right in the center of luxury District 1.
The mini-fridge in the room is quite compact. We bought some fresh tropical fruits and drinks, and it was a bit of a tight squeeze to fit everything inside.
The check-in and check-out process was extremely quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. The Wi-Fi was stable and fast enough for work video calls, and the room also had a decent workspace setup. The central location on Dong Du Street made it very convenient for me to walk to nearby offices and business areas. Housekeeping also did a great job keeping the room clean and replenishing bottled water daily
There was no iron in the room. I had to contact the front desk to ask about it, and they informed me that laundry service was available but with an additional charge.
We booked two rooms next to each other for our family, and the arrangement worked perfectly. It gave our teenage children their own space while still keeping everypne close together. The location also helped us save quite a bit on transportation since we could easily walk to Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Saigon Centre, and many local dining spots. The air conditioning worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the current hot weather in Saigon.
The swimming pool is on the smaller side. It’s great for a quick, refreshing dip to cool off after walking around, but not really meant for swimming laps.
My partner and I loved the cozy, boutique feel of this hotel. The bed was super comfortable with high-quality linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast had a nice mix of local flavors and Western staples. It’s so convenient to walk down to the Saigon River bank for a romantic evening stroll or grab a cocktail at the nearby rooftop bars.
The breakfast room can get a bit crowded around 8:30 AM. We had to wait about four minutes for a table to clear up, but the staff handled the rush very professionally.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and good value for money with lots of variety of dishes - local and continental and all freshly cooked. It was very central location to walk everywhere but and the room was fairly soundproof. No disturbance to sleep despite the traffic outside. We were very happy with the service and the room.
The lifts and common area looked a little worn and outdated. We booked an extra large room with a view which was fantastic but we saw the other rooms were a little small and pokey.
The location is absolute perfection. Being on Dong Du means you are literally a two-minute walk from the high-end shopping on Dong Khoi and The Opera House. The street is lively but sophisticated, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around. The hotel staff were wonderful very attentive and always made sure I had a taxi or directions when heading out. The room was clean, secure, and compact but well-designed
The window in my room faced the neighboring building, so there was not much natural light. This did not bother me since I was out exploring most of the day, but it is something to keep in mind if you prefer a room with a street view.

Breakfast
Room was cozy and clean, bed was comfy. Area is lively but didn’t hear much noise inside. Only minor issue was WiFi a bit unstable at times. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Great central location, spacious room, and the rooftop view offers a stunning view of the river. Handy having the 7Eleven downstairs too!
Be aware that there is a construction site right next door so bring some earplugs!
Location is definitely a plus, close to many attractions. The room was clean and modern, but lighting was a bit dim for my liking. Staff were polite and responsive. Overall still a comfortable stay.
