We loved it. The staff were particularly friendly.
Pros:

Quirky cabin to the side of the pub. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Comfy bed

Cons:

Curtains needed some attention. The zip for the ones by the front door didn’t work, and the one intending to keep the toilet separate needed some mending.

Fantastic place. If I was exploring in Kent again I would really make the effort to go there.
Pros:

The walk to the iron gate across from the patio of the pub/restaurant.
Opening the iron gate to the 8 rooms/mini-apartments beyond.
Our room was big, open plan, with all facilites you need. Lovely big walk-in shower.
Great tea/coffee facilities.
Nice bed and linen.
Staff in the Potting Shed were friendly and helpful.
Evening meal was very good and we ended up staying for breakfast which was also very good. The raspberry and almond granola with yogurt, berries and honey beat me!

Cons:

NOthing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really great stay, accommodation is highly recommended
Pros:

Such a delightful place to stay - very spacious and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and we ate in the pub which was great.
Really good facilities in the room and tea/coffee selection and lovely biscuits

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, but be aware there is only a curtain to the bathroom and so privacy isn’t ideal there if that’s an issue for you.

Spacious, nice and quiet and comfortable for a night or two. Parking is easy on the premises too.
Pros:

It was very spacious and comfortable, and luckily, nice and quiet too, as it was a Sunday. We really liked having a spacious area with a sofa to sit on and space in the room. Bed was comfortable and welcoming. Bathroom nice and spacious too.

Cons:

Could really do with a small fridge in the room - there is plenty of space for it, plus hooks for the big bathroom towels to hang up. Again, there is the space for that on one wall of the bathroom, and an additional shelf/unit to put toiletteries etc in the bathroom.
The showerhead needed mending, but we used the rainshower part instead, as the other showerhead appeared to be broken, but that is just a maintenance issue I guess had not been seen to on a Sunday.

Everything else was really great!. We will stay again, when we are on some family visit in the area.

Was not informed upfront (when booking for the Sunday), that the kitchen closes at 8pm in the restaurant on a Sunday, and due to long travel, we just turned up at 20.05pm! - so we made do with just crisps at the bar. But never mind....

Pros:

Lovely large rooms in a quiet location. Comfortable with everything required for a night's stay.

Cons:

The hot water was set far too high to the point of scalding. Reported to staff as it either needs looking at or a small notice above the sink.

Attractive country pub with modern features and lively atmosphere.
Pros:

The pub is well run and has interesting design features. The staff were quick and good despite it being a very sunny and busy Friday afternoon. The menu was good and the food was well presented. Large beer garden with lots of seating and a small kids play area . Parking was handy. The room ( carron) is so lovely to look at. My husband called it a hobbit hole but it was much bigger than that. The bed was large and comfortable, lovely shower and bathroom( be aware that there is not a door - just a large curtain between room and bathroom). Good TV and comfortable sofa.

Cons:

It was a VERY busy Friday so the pub garden was noisy and there were lots of kids about. That is fine. Slight down side of the rooms is that they are very close to the play area so it was fairly noisy. The garden has music and that went on until around 11pm - not a problem for us but if you wanted an early night it might disturb you a bit.
Unfortunately we did not sleep well as there was a constant humming sound in the room ( we could not track it down) and that disturbed our night. In the morning the duty manager was brilliant after she had heard out phone message. She rushed out to meet us before we left, visited the room and then said she will give us a full refund. We would stay here again but maybe on a quieter night. It is a VERY busy place.

Great for an overnight stay
Pros:

Loved the living roofs at the restaurant and accommodation - meant lots of birdsong which was great :)
Bed comfortable and great sized shower - water pressure not bad but remember to step away if someone flushes the chain or turns the sink taps on!
Corner sofa also super comfy with plenty of space for us both to stretch out.
Loved that we only had a few moments walk to the bar and restaurant!

Cons:

This is 'even better if' comment rather than didn't like - would have been useful to have a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.
Also would have been lovely to have a little bistro table and chairs outside of the room to enjoy the early morning birdsong

Ik zou hier zo opnieuw logeren.
Pros:

Aangenaam verrast door accommodatie. Ideale stop op 50 minuten van Dover.
Ruime kamers met een supergoed bed en een zalige grote douche.
De kamer was ook stil. Geen geluid van buren of de pub op het terrein. Ruime parking.

So glad we’ve found somewhere decent to stay when visiting family
Pros:

Absolutely lovely, best place we’ve ever stayed, the staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. The food is great, the garden is huge and has loads of tables, also a very comfortable pub inside. Definitely staying here again. The room is amazing, the the bedding is clean and a lovely big shower, everything you need 10/10

Cons:

Nothing
