Great location, comfortable room
Pros:

Location was amazing, the elevator went right to the basement or underground mall. Room was comfortable, with all the usual Japanese amenities. Washing machine was very handy.

Cons:

Dryer didn’t seem to work.

I wasn’t overally happy with this hotel. The staff is great and kind though! It was a 40 mins train ride to the main attractions. I wasn’t aware of this before as the reviews wernt clear before booking this, I had the impression this was close to everything. Yes this is next to the main umeda train station which takes you everywhere but it’s far from the major attractions you need to visit. The carpet wasn’t cleaned, stains everywhere n against the wall underneath the cabinet. No storage capacity at all , neither for my luggage and the bad sheets weren’t clean, I noticed yellowish stains on the pillow case, luckily I had my own towel from home and covered that over. If you leave the sticker saying do not disturb, they don’t leave you clean towels outside in a bag, as other hotels do. For the money I paid for, I expected better service.

It was good.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and close to the train station and restaurants.

Cons:

The view was of the building next door's air-conditioning outlets and you could hear it humming all the time
