2nd visit, fantastic staff, great comfy rooms and bed, great breakfast, restaurant & room service.
Pros:

It was my brother and my second visit for our annual brothers weekend. We enjoyed the first visit in 2025 and thought easy lets stay again in 2026. I had two nights on this booking before my big brothers booking for both of us. I had room service one night and had Buttered Chicken I requested medium hot and it was fantastic. The second night I entertained two friends at the restaurant, the steaks and sides were again fantastic. The hotel has a few staff that really are genuine, fun, yet professional people, but all staff were great. One lady in the restaurant I think she is already a senior member of staff should be promoted to Hotel Manager, unfortunately I do not have her name. Most likely best breakfast anywhere in the world.

Cons:

I knew the hotel does not have a pool before booking, I do enjoy a pool while away from home. In 2025 we had a suite and the bathroom had a bath this time we had standard rooms without a bath, I should have checked prior to booking.

We were disappointed that we could not place our dinner order through room service as no one answered the phone when we called.

I will stay here every time I visit Melbourne - highly recommend.
Pros:

I absolutely loved this hotel. It's tucked away in a very quiet street and feels very close to all the city attractions. Great staff and hotel felt very comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely stay for all my Melbourne stays from now on.

Nothing, I loved everything.

Art deco decor, the dining room, comfy bed, great location but quiet room.

Cons:

The restaurant wasn’t open Sunday and Monday night. The buffet breakfast needed more vegetable options (sautéed spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes). Parking not on-site.
