J’ai été surpris par certains commentaires très critiques concernant cette chambre, notamment en raison de la présence de moquette. Pour ma part, cela n’a en rien nui à la qualité de mon séjour. La literie était confortable, les équipements étaient satisfaisants et l’accueil, malgré notre arrivée tardive, a été particulièrement appréciable, situré a deux pas de la gare de bus.

À mon sens, ces différents éléments positifs méritent d’être pris en compte et ne justifient pas les nombreux avis négatifs que j’ai pu lire. Mon expérience a été globalement très agréable et conforme à mes attentes.

Cons:

Le seul inconvénient que j’ai relevé concerne l’absence de rideaux occultants dans la chambre.

Pros:

C’est à deux pas de la station de bus et de la belle poste. Le lit est grand et confortable. Il y a une bouilloire avec deux sachets de thé, deux sachets de café et deux sachets de sucre, ce qui est une bonne surprise et est appréciable.
Tout s’est bien passé.

Fantastic central hotel
Pros:

Great, bright room with lovely view over main road.
Was very quiet and extremely central to bus station.
Staff was great and everything is in walking distance. About 30meters from the famous post office. Tea and coffee facilites in room.

Mixed review with some good and poor aspects
Pros:

We had a 1 night stay. Room was spacious, shower was good, linen was clean and large bed was comfortable, we asked for 2 extra pillows which were happily provided. Staff friendly and helpful, we needed some help with a taxi to Ella so this was much appreciated.
Location is good, we wished we had stayed a second night to explore the town area more, beautiful lake and botanical gardens close by.

Cons:

Areas of the room were grubby like the sink and toothbrush holder, we didn’t use. Windows and carpet were not good either in terms cleanliness. Reception and first impressions were very poor, looked like a well used hostel rather than a hotel. We booked a deluxe room and as the bed and shower were good, it’s all we really needed for 1 night. We paid £30 for room only and our review would be higher if the cleanliness was addressed.

Be aware
Pros:

The location is good, right in the middle of town. The room facilities are OK too.

Cons:

All the rooms open into a kitchen area that would easily seat 30 people, making it extremely noisy. There were a big family staying there when we did and they partied until after 1am. The manager wasn't able to get them to be quiet! Consequently we didn't get much sleep. The call to prayer was at 6am too.

Nice for 1 night
Pros:

We stayed for 1 night. The room is spacious, beds comfy. Yes the carpet has seen better days, but it didn‘t bother us. Hot shower is a plus for the cold climate. The location is excellent.

Cons:

There is only one parking space in the front. Or paid parking oposite.
