We checked into our room after a long journey with our toddler, only to find the toilet was not working. Because the hotel was fully booked, we couldn’t switch rooms immediately, and the engineer sent to fix it couldn't resolve the issue right away. We were exhausted and just wanted to shower and rest.A manager (I believe her name was Lindsey) stepped in to help. She initially offered an accessible room, but it lacked a tub, making it nearly impossible to bathe a toddler. However, she didn't give up. She thought outside the box and ultimately moved us into a family room that worked perfectly.Sometimes things go wrong, and it’s rarely intentional. What matters is how a hotel responds. Lindsey completely changed the atmosphere from stressful to positive. We are incredibly grateful for her help and look forward to staying here again!
We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is by far the best hotel we have stayed ever!! We actually prefer it to Disney resorts despite being Disney annual passholders. We love the classy, chill vibe. We love the pools. We love the coffee shop (latte is fantastic!!!). But mostly we love the people - so welcoming, so friendly, so helpful. We really feel like we are at home here. My daughter (age 21) and I last stayed in July and had a spectacular time. We had breakfast every morning in the Unreserved Restaurant with everything absolutely outstanding. A special thank you to Danielle for exceptional service - she went over and above with several of our requests and did so happily! I also loved being greeted so warmly by hostess Zoe every morning who was so personable! And Eere with those amazing omelets oh la la fantastique sooooo delicious!!! Honestly, every single person we encounter here is wonderful - surely a sign of the positive culture fostered by the leadership of the resort (having been in corporate for 28 years - I know what it takes to create such a culture). We absolutely can't wait until our next visit.
I stayed twice within the last six months and will absolutely come back very soon! I've always had over and about staff encounters specifically in the lobby, downstairs bar/restaurant and pool. Shout out to Caitlyn at the pool for helping make our girls trip extra special! The rooms are spacious and beautiful and the location is so close to Disney. The rooftop dinner was excellent as was the downstairs breakfast buffet! We were able to catch the fireworks on the roof and a beautiful sunrise from our room in the morning. I enjoyed the adult pool for quiet and relaxation. I cant wait to come back!
This is an amazing resort! We came up for a weekend getaway and never left the resort! The pool is beautiful with an adults only section. Numerous bars and restaurants on site. We ate Illume, which we very much recommend! Every employee we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful! This resort is pricey, so be prepared to spend some money! We loved the room - very spacious - really liked the bathroom set up! The beds could be more comfortable - just very soft! Overall, we highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!
I mean I get it: Marriott owned this strange bit of property, had to build something on it and thus the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa. At the end of a long, winding road between the piney woods and I-4. They spin it in different direction and I can see why - it's one of the least "resort-y" resorts I have experienced. I mean 16 stories of mighty nice rooms, a handful of overpriced eateries and a couple of pools does not a "resort" make. It's good for conferences and conventions because you're not tempted to wander away BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE TO WANDER TO! But the place is close to immaculate in every respect! The staff services are stellar!!!! The rooms are 9.5 out of 10! (BTW, insist on an EVEN-NUMBERED ROOM that is on the side of the building away from the freeway!) Insane touch - an umbrella in the closet next to the robes, very useful in the summer months once you DO manage to get out! Bring heavy snacks, small trays of breakfast or lunch items and drinks as the prices for these are OUTRAGEOUS here and you have a mini-fridge. Best part: super clean and bright and equally bright staff! Worst part: "resort" fees for not much of a resort and, oh yeah, parking fees!
Here for Groove dance convention.
Excellent amenities and food on site. Great beer at Unreserved bar, food at the bar and excellent dinner the sear and sea restaurant. Yes things are higher priced but this is a higher end resort. Great service overall. Fitness center although looked small was not over crowded. I could also get time on weights and machines. Had the pleasure of doing a 45 min HIIT class with Suzie (free to guests). She is full of energy and enthusiasm. Loved it. Overall a great time at the resort
I had a great experience taking Susie's HIIT class at the Marriott in Orlando. She brought fantastic energy, encouragement, and expertise to the workout, creating a fun and motivating environment from start to finish.
What stood out most was her attention to form and technique. She took the time to provide helpful coaching and adjustments that made the exercises more effective and helped me get the most out of the workout. Her instruction was clear, supportive, and tailored to ensure I was performing movements safely and correctly.
The class was well-paced, she adjusted the challenge level based on your needs, and enjoyable, and I left feeling great. Susie is an outstanding trainer, and I would highly recommend her classes to anyone looking for a great workout experience.
My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and became one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
The room cleanliness was poor from the start. Carpets were dirty, cupboards were dusty, and the bathroom was only superficially cleaned. Despite multiple complaints over several days, housekeeping repeatedly failed to maintain an acceptable standard, and improvements only came after repeated follow-ups.
The most serious issue occurred when a bellboy pushing a heavily loaded luggage trolley struck me forcefully in the back while I was waiting outside the lobby. The injury caused significant pain and affected the remainder of my family holiday, including our first Disney trip. I was unable to enjoy attractions, struggled to walk for extended periods, and could not fully use Disney tickets and services that had already been purchased.
What made the situation worse was the hotel's response. After reporting the incident, I experienced repeated delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of management involvement. I had to chase updates multiple times, received little meaningful follow-up, and was repeatedly referred to Security rather than being contacted directly by a manager. Apart from one compassionate engineer who offered assistance after seeing me struggling, nobody appeared genuinely concerned about my wellbeing.
Throughout the entire process, I felt ignored, dismissed, and unsupported. A simple call from management, medical assistance, or any gesture of goodwill would have demonstrated some level of care, but none was offered. Even the claims process was delayed, leaving me without any meaningful resolution during my stay.
While the cleanliness issues were frustrating, the hotel's handling of an injury caused by one of its employees was unacceptable. There was no urgency, accountability, or genuine concern for a guest who had been hurt on their property.
I will not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.
Beautiful property, warm friendly staff, comfy clean rooms. Stayed for a three day conference. Would absolutely stay again. Resort had everything you would need, good restaurants, our conference food was top notch. Beautiful pool, trendy and hip rooftop bar/restaurant. You can watch Disney fireworks at night. The one small thing is it is a bit isolated for walking. If you leave property you need a car and or rideshare. We stayed on property the entire time.
It’s home !
All was lovely
Hotel is lovely and the facilities are great
You can expect to add $200 a night on top of the price you think you’re paying, they were dipping into my credit card over and over, it felt totally out of control, I paid nearly $800 on top for a three night stay, not just taxes but parking is huge, $30 extra per night for a five year old, all sorts of other things, I felt totally ripped off by the time I left.
