Thao Minh New Star Hotel

The reception staff went above and beyond to help us organize our bus and ferry tickets back to Hanoi. The hotel is located right in the vibrant center on 1/4 Street, making it super easy to explore nearby night markets and restaurants. Clean wooden-floor rooms with great balconies!

We have just finished our holiday in Cat Ba with a group of friends, and I wanted to leave a detailed review for Thao Minh New Star Hotel because it truly exceeded our expectations.
Our first impression was the warm welcome from the reception team. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, they kindly helped us store our luggage, showed us the hotel's private parking area, and even offered us cold drinks while we waited. The check-in process itself was quick and efficient.
The family room was much more spacious than we expected. We especially loved the elegant wooden flooring, which felt clean and comfortable to walk on. Everything in the room, including the bathroom, hair dryer, toiletries, and hot water system, was in excellent condition and well prepared. The balcony was also spacious, offering a lovely view of 1/4 Street with plenty of sunshine and refreshing sea breezes.
During our three-day stay, we chose to have dinner every evening at the hotel's seafood restaurant instead of eating elsewhere. The seafood was incredibly fresh and naturally flavorful. We especially enjoyed the garlic mantis shrimp and grilled oysters with scallion oil. The prices were very reasonable and clearly listed, which gave us confidence.
Another highlight was the reception staff, who helped us book a Lan Ha Bay cruise at a discounted price. The tour even included convenient pick-up and drop-off directly at the hotel, making everything completely hassle-free.
This is a trustworthy hotel with sincere hospitality and excellent service. I would happily recommend Thao Minh New Star Hotel to anyone planning a trip to Cat Ba.

हमारी गाड़ी ट्रैफिक की वजह से काफ़ी देर से कैट बा पहुँची, लेकिन रात की ड्यूटी पर मौजूद रिसेप्शनिस्ट हमारा इंतज़ार कर रहे थे। उन्होंने मुस्कुराकर हमारा स्वागत किया और केवल दो मिनट में चेक-इन की पूरी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर दी।
होटल 1/4 सड़क पर स्थित है, इसलिए इसे ढूँढना बहुत आसान है। सुबह बालकनी का दरवाज़ा खोलते ही सामने समुद्र का सुंदर दृश्य दिखाई देता है, जो हमें बहुत पसंद आया।

Điểm mình ấn tượng nhất ở đây không chỉ là vị trí trung tâm đường 1/4 mà là thái độ của các bạn nhân viên. Gia đình mình có người già đi lại hơi chậm, các bạn lễ tân và bảo vệ luôn chủ động chạy ra đỡ, xách đồ và giữ cửa rất lễ phép. Sự hiếu khách này xứng đáng được lan tỏa.

Der gemeinsame Aufenthaltsbereich ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Unsere Gruppe bestand aus 6 Personen, und das Hotel hat uns miteinander verbundene Zimmer arrangiert, was sehr praktisch war.
Am Abend saßen wir alle zusammen im Außenbereich des Gartens und genossen Getränke. Der Bereich ist geräumig, mit wunderschönen Lichterketten dekoriert und einer angenehmen Meeresbrise, die für eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt.
Der perfekte Ort, um nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag voller Ausflüge zusammenzukommen und zu entspannen!

Địa điểm lưu trú lý tưởng cho gia đình nhiều thế hệ tại Đảo Cát Bà Chuyến đi Cát Bà vừa rồi của gia đình mình gồm cả người già và trẻ nhỏ đã thành công tốt đẹp, một phần lớn là nhờ không gian lưu trú tuyệt vời tại Thao Minh New Star Hotel. Khi đi du lịch có cả ông bà lẫn các bé, tiêu chí hàng đầu của mình là vị trí phải thuận tiện để hạn chế di chuyển và phòng ốc phải thực sự thông thoáng. Khách sạn này đã đáp ứng xuất sắc tất cả các yêu cầu đó. Ông bà muốn đi dạo bờ biển buổi sáng chỉ cần bước qua đường. Các bé muốn mua sữa, bánh ngọt thì xung quanh có sẵn các cửa hàng tiện lợi. Việc di chuyển ra bến tàu trung tâm để đi tour vịnh Lan Hạ cũng chỉ mất vài phút đi bộ, giúp ông bà không bị mệt mỏi vì phải đi xe đường dài. Phòng gia đình của chúng mình cực kỳ rộng rãi, có cửa kính lớn sát trần và ban công rộng mở đón gió trời. Các bé có không gian chơi đùa an toàn trên nền sàn gỗ sạch bóng, còn ông bà có thể ngồi ngoài ban công thưởng trà, ngắm cảnh vịnh biển sầm uất phía trước. Một điểm khiến mình rất hài lòng nữa là khâu ăn uống. Khách sạn phục vụ bữa sáng đi kèm rất chu đáo, các món nước như bún, phở được chuẩn bị nóng hổi, thanh vị, phù hợp cho cả người già và trẻ nhỏ. Bữa tối gia đình mình cũng đặt ăn luôn tại nhà hàng hải sản của khách sạn. Hải sản tươi sống bắt ngay tại bể, chế biến sạch sẽ, giá cả niêm yết rõ ràng nên không phải lo lắng về vấn đề vệ sinh hay chặt chém. Khu vực café ngoài trời buổi tối được trang trí đèn lồng lung linh, cả nhà ngồi quây quần bên nhau hóng gió biển vô cùng ấm cúng.

View đẹp. Ngay trung tâm đi lại thuận tiện.

I stayed at Thao Minh New Star Hotel for four days, and it was even better than I expected. The check-in was fast, the staff were professional and helpful, and my room was clean, quiet, and had a spacious balcony. The soundproof windows made it easy to relax after a long day.
I also enjoyed having dinner at the hotel. The seafood was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. In the evening, the garden café was a perfect place to enjoy a drink and the cool sea breeze. Free private parking in the town center was another big advantage.
Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

Not much

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le design minimaliste mais très fonctionnel de la chambre. Le parquet en bois était impeccable et les grandes fenêtres donnaient accès à un joli balcon.
La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et les nuits étaient totalement calmes, sans aucun bruit. Le parking privé gratuit sur place est un énorme avantage, surtout dans le centre-ville de Cat Ba où il est souvent difficile de trouver une place.

Khách sạn hỗ trợ setup phòng kỷ niệm rất dễ thương. Phòng có ban công thoáng, view nhìn thẳng ra phố biển nhộn nhịp. Buổi tối ngồi uống nước ở quán café đèn lung linh phía dưới sảnh thực sự rất lãng mạn. Cảm ơn đội ngũ Thao Minh New Star đã chu đáo!
