Not forgotable stay.
Pros:

The hotel is located in the heart of Stockholm. Staff is very welcoming and ready to help. Breackfast was very good.

Cons:

In spa there is only traditional small cold "pool" for jumping in after sauna, no warm pool.

Pros:

Loud, loud and loud
Pros:

The moment we entered the room, we were warmly reminded that we tiny: the hotel provided slippers in size 50+. I have rarely felt so much like a Hobbit among normal-sized humans. But the slippers are amazing!
To start with the positives: the location right in the old town is fantastic. Also, the mattress was incredibly soft — theoretically, sleeping should have been easy. Physically, it felt like lying on a cloud. Acoustically, more like sleeping next to an airport runway.

Cons:

At first, I actually thought: “Oh, how thoughtful — they even provide earplugs in the bathroom!” Cute. Almost caring. Later I realized: those weren’t a courtesy. They were a warning.
The room itself was approximately the size of an ambitious walk-in closet — except without the closet. For the price, I expected at least somewhere to put my clothes besides the nightstands and emotionally into despair.
Unfortunately, the heating didn’t work, giving us the unique experience of combining “luxury hotel” with “winter biathlon training camp.”
And then there was the soundscape:
Every few hours, the room phone beeped like a reversing truck.
You could hear absolutely everything from the neighboring rooms — including what were probably unreleased family secrets.
Starting at 6 a.m., the side alley behind the hotel transformed into a live performance of breakfast prep and garbage collection symphony.
But the final boss was the bathroom ventilation system. This thing ran nonstop all night and sounded like a jet engine trying to inhale a swarm of angry bees. Turning it off? Impossible. Cutting the power? Also impossible. We tried everything.
In the end, I had to channel my inner MacGyver: I climbed onto the toilet and used the room service menu to block the vent. Only then did silence finally arrive. Never in my life have I felt more like an underpaid maintenance worker in an 80s action movie.
Final verdict: great location, soft bed, and an unexpected survival challenge included free of charge. Unfortunately disappointing overall — but at least I left with improved engineering skills.
