You have to use your room key to activate the elevator DOWN. That seems a dumb idea and dangerous, if you were to emergency evacuate.

Stylish, luxurious, a treat on the waterfront.
Pros:

Brilliant location for exploring the Old Town and nearby islands. Rooms well decorated and comfortable with good sized bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent, a wide choice of food and well stocked up.

Cons:

Maybe better coffee making facilities in room, but that is a very minor issue.

Een hotel op een perfecte plek waarvan een aantal kamers veel te duur zijn voor de kwaliteit.
Pros:

Aardig, voorkomend personeel dat behulpzaam en gastvrij was. Dat gold zowel bij de incheckbalie maar ook bij de ontbijtbediening.

Cons:

Kleine kamer met niet eens een houten vloer maar met plastic laminaat. Dat geeft een armmoedige uitstraling terwijl Zweden vól zit met bos! Waarom niet mooi duurzaam hout op de vloer? Deze kamer had een veel te klein raam. Ingenieus was de metalen spiegelplaat buiten zodat er wel zonlicht binnen kwam in de nauwe straat waar het raam anders op uitkeek. Maar de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is geheel zoek.

Bed was good, and breakfast quality was very high. Location is fantastic

Cons:

The hotel seem to have some kind of deal with Viking cruise line, so every day huge crowds that go on cruise would come and completely overrun the hotel.

Breakfast area was so crowded that some days it was hard to get a table. Lobby was constantly crowded, the check in lines was crazy long. The staff was completely overrun by those crowds constantly checking in and checking out. If you had a simple question to reception - it would be impossible to ask because of how many people are there

Maybe if you are doing the cruise this is what you sign up for, but we didn't come to do a cruise. We thought we picked a nice hotel for our 6 day trip to Stockholm, and instead had to deal with this insanity.

It really felt like we are staying in some crazy crowded cheap hotel rather than a nice hotel we thought we booked. For the price they charge and the brand name they have I was expecting a significantly better experience
