When I booked the room, I booked for a king size bed with a pull out couch. When I arrived, I specifically asked the clerk if the room has the pull out couch and he said yes. When we walked into the room, there was only one bed and no pull out couch. My husband had to go back and tell him that that’s not what we booked for. We were moved to another room. That room had 2 beds but it smelled like mildew and like a black mold musty type smell. At this point we were tired and needed sleep. The sprinkler looked like it had the black mold on it.
The staff was very friendly. They sold their sodas and water for only a dollar which was excellent potato chips. Most of them was $.75. The location to where I needed to be was 10 minutes away so that worked out.
My room reeked of stinky mildew, my sheets and pillows smelt so bad I had to sleep on top of towels the next day when the housekeepers came in, they changed my linen. They need to replace the carpet the smell is horrible and it had my clothes and my duffel bag that I sit on the bed reeked of that stinky mildew so I have to wash it when I get home
Spent a night at Comfort Suites New Orleans on Bullard Avenue and had a fabulous experience - Mz Wanda checked me in and was incredibly helpful and friendly. I was looking for a great restaurant and she directed me to a great neighborhood option (and it was great - I recommend Thai NOLA!). My room was comfy and quiet, my only complaint was the couch was pretty old and tatty, but the room was clean and the towels were generous and the water hot and bed comfortable. There were plenty of plugs and charging options. The next morning breakfast was great, but the most amazing thing was that Mz Wanda came over and said hello and remembered my name! Quintessential New Orleans hospitality. Great value!
What a great stay beautiful rooms and Wanda was amazing
Ms. Wanda was amazing! The rooms were top notch, service was excellent and it made the trip a lot easier. Thank you comfort suites and a very special thank you to Ms. Wanda.
We had a wonderful stay! Everyone on the staff was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of delicious options each morning.
A special thank you to Wanda, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Her warm hospitality truly stood out and made a lasting impression. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
The staff Wanda, Jasmine, it was a Hispanic lady who I can't remember her name and a guy can't remember his name even the house keepers were very nice and friendly. The location was great for The event I was attending and great food places right next door and across the street. Their 20 oz pop/ soda, water and chips was just a $1 I couldn't believe it.
My room had a little odor but they offered to move me, but I brought some air freshener and made it work.
Everything and everyone was great
They even let us leave our car in the lot while on our cruise
Would definitely stay here again
Only thing was that it was right off the interstate.
The Hotel had a bad stinch odor from entering the lobby, all through the hotel. The room had an even stronger fowl odor like mildew, etc. At check-in I was only told to make sure I had my key at all times because main door stays lock, and thats how I would get back into the hotel entrance, and where the wifi was on the key card booklet. No other information about breakfast times, pool hours, etc was giving. Anytime I passed front desk no one was there to greet you during the day times. The worst place ever that I have stayed. Bathroom wasn't fully clean. The tub had old dried conditioner or shampoo still inside the tub. Wall looked damage and wall paper like it was coming apart. The Beds was super uncomfortable, and hard.
Staff was awesome. Lady working front desk was very helpful. Ms Wanda was great the next morning running the breakfast bar and checking me out.

Room was up to standards and was moved to another room to accommodate, but it was still a little disappointing.
