Convenient and comfortable in Smithfield
Pros:

Pleasant staff, comfortable and clean room, convenient fitness center and pool, decent breakfast

Cons:

A few things about the facility seemed a little old and creaky, like the faucet in the bathroom.

Our room had apparently been painted and the bathroom caulked, which ended up with caulking all over the rug in the living room area, stains on the rug (blood or juice or nail polish), the bathroom door did not shut all the way from the paint and caulking. The maintenance did what they could for us, because I did not want to switch rooms. All in all, it was a good stay.

We needed a place to stay after a wedding. It fit the bill.. No complaints
Pros:

Very Good. Variety was great. Staff was very helpful

Cons:

Time for a new rug in Rm 105. The bathroom floor was a little sticky.

Not what it used to be
Pros:

The location, the breakfasts were decent (though a bit too repetitive when staying there for a week), the bed was comfortable, the room/hotel was quiet even when full for the weekend, and the staff were generally friendly. I appreciated being able to use the breakfast lounge at other times of day to eat take-out dinners or quietly play boardgames with family.

Cons:

They haven't kept up with updates for the room and it was NOT clean. There were stains on the walls & carpet, cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, and the shower curtain wasn't big enough, hence it was hard to keep the floors from getting soaking wet. Lastly, even though the hotel has a sign to discourage smoking (by charging a cleaning fee), someone in a nearby room was definitely smoking pot on the weekend and the smell wafted into our room for a few days. We didn’t appreciate that especially since we were there to visit family.

Pros:

Everything was very good. Had trouble with my tv and the front desk sent someone right away to fix it, then the front desk called to make sure my tv worked. Woul definitely stay there again and the breakfast w excellent

Large,.clean rooms with exceedingly helpful staff.
Pros:

The room was very large and clean. There was plenty of towels and bathroom was quite clean. The beds were comfortable and had lots of pillows of different firmness with a variety of blankets. The staff was so friendly and exceedingly helpful.

Cons:

I wish there were more handicap parking spots available. I am disabled and had to park quite a distance from the door and carry my things a long way to my room.
