Close to the highway! But overall a great place to stay

Our room was very dirty and it smelled like cigarettes. Their was a pube on the shower curtain, stains on the room furniture. The photos on here are heavily edited.
We left and when we came back our door was wide open.
The front counter rep said it was pretty much our fault. Which I’m not dismissing that it could have been, but we always make sure our doors are closed for obvious reasons. My gf mentioned that when she went to unlock it the lock was faulty. It was the fact that he dismissed it all and just went straight to “it’s your fault” granted we were a little annoyed but he should have understood that given all our personal belongs were left on an open room. We ended up not even staying our night we left.
There was a lady named J, she was very friendly and nice. Hire more of her.

I enjoyed the cleaning and cook staff. They were very friendly and kind. Also working AC.
The window in my room was damaged and taped up. Also the front desk staff was not very welcoming they were always on their phone and not paying attention. That raised some safety concerns. The pool was dirty.

Very bad experience at this location. The guy at the front desk has the worst attitude ever. My wife and I are Platinum members and that guy at the front desk said he didn't care about no choice privileged members. My best advice is if you can avoid stay at this location avoided. I wouldn't recommend this location to no one. A guest should always be treated respectfully. Also old dirty towels, and should've old dirty towels because Choice privileges provides that for all its hotels.
It was nice. We felt safe. It was comfortable, just a great stay. We were on the 2nd floor and it was very quite. You couldn't hear anyone on the outside.
