Relaxing stay at Courtyard
Pros:

Enjoyable stay this week. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast at The Bistro was delicious and Naeema was a delight to speak with and she took the time to thank us personally as we were leaving.

Pros:

The team is always kind and accommodating. I really appreciate the great service I receive in the bistro, especially from T and Naeema. Because of the great staff and location, this is always my first choice of hotels when I’m in the area on business travel.

Nice view, close to Metro stop, and across the street from a mall with a Macy's and an Imax.
Pros:

My room was on the eighth floor, so I had a nice view of the McLean-Tysons Corner area. The Marriott is across the street from a mall that includes a Macy's department store and an Imax movie theater. It is a modest walk from the Tysons Silver Line Metro station. Front desk staff were polite and cordial, as was the staff member at the Bistro restaurant. My Bistro chicken sandwich was tasty, as were the fries. The hotel corridors were clean and the staff responsible for cleaning did their job well and were very courteous.

Cons:

I had trouble adjusting the air conditioning in my room. The thermostat said the room temperature was 71 degrees Fahrenheit, but it felt more like about 60. I turned it up to 74, but it didn't make much of a difference.

I must also admit that I thought my chicken sandwich, though tasty, was overpriced. With the fries and soda, I got hit with a $28 bill.

Sintayera was a great host to us at the bistro. The food was good. She had an attitude that said she enjoyed her job. She should be commended for an outstanding job.

Very good food
Pros:

Courtyard by Marriott Tyson's corner, the staff were very courteous. The food was great. They took special care to make sure the 1 dish did not have onions as requested. Very welcoming atmosphere.

I went to the Bistro and had an amazing Carmel macchiato made by Naeema. I’m from a small town and it was so comforting to be met with a big smile. I will definitely be visiting again.

Great location but that is about it!
Pros:

The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly which is a good thing because the hotel itself is showing wear and cutting corners. Be prepared for ankle deep water within 60 seconds of getting into shower, and for paralyzingly slow internet unless you pay for the upgrade. They have also moved to housekeeping every other day as a rule rather than an option.

This would all be acceptable if the room rate was good but alas it is not.

Hotel is fine, Bistro is great
Pros:

This Courtyard is exactly what you’d expect from a Courtyard- the rooms are fine, the lobby is fine. But there are two great exceptions to fine… the staff at The Bistro, particularly Naaema in the mornings, is so lovely and warm. And the food is fresh and tasty. Also, the bed is very comfortable. If you go, don’t miss the breakfast and ask for Naeema from Indonesia!
