Beds were comfy
The bar staff were more interested in being on there phones, The breakfast was freezing cold
Location and hotel good.
£5 additional charge when you turn up to park which is annoying. You are trapped on a motorway services so unless you come by taxi or bus you have to pay it. Shame not included in the hotel cost as just another thing on top when you get there.
Close to the Motorway
Breakfast is very poor.
The staff we very helpful but very busy, they need more help. Seem to have to do a bit of everything.
The rooms need air conditioning, a fan is not enough. Complimentary shower cap and tissues would be a bonus.
The breakfast was very poorly because the hot plates were not working, breakfast was cold. Was told I could not pay less just to have coffee and croissants. I was also told by a customer staying there, that the hot plates had not been working for a week. Also not a very good look or feel having people sitting outside with cans of cider or beer bought from the services and being loud, I assumed these people were being housed at the hotel.
Location
No air con, only one pillow each, no hand towels. Fried breakfast was cold because hot plate wasn't working. I wasn't informed of this when paying for breakfast.
We didn't like that you didn't provide hand towels. Even with your red policy, it would be beneficial. And no decaffeinated tea in the bedrooms. The bathroom floor didn't appear clean, and the grouting in the tiles was in need of attention. There was a dark red stain on the carpet closest to the window.
Please attend to these details in room 30.
Budget stay , one night over splitting a 350 mile journey from North Lincolnshire to Perranporth, Cornwall. Satisfactory for our purpose.
Charge for car parking overnight reasonable but a big poster in reception suggests parking is free.
Great location
There was no air conditioning and the fan they provided was very noisy couldn’t use it .The breakfast was so dry and I couldn’t even get weatabix.
Location and price
No air on working in middle of heatwave. Fan and radiator in room suggesting no heating in winter
It was well placed for our trip. Comfortable beds and very clean throughout. Rooms were dog friendly and well catered for. Restaurant meals were value for money. Would stay again if in the area
No walk in shower
Cleaniness. Cooked Breakfast was poor quality but nice coffee machine and pastries/cereals. Firm bed but comfy enough extra pillows sockets by the bed. Pleasant staff, and you are near the services so choice of places to get food. Breakfast is £11.99
No air con but at least there was a fan. Get what you pay for I guess but apart from reception area corridors and rooms were like when you open the oven and the heat hits you, there was a plug in radiator in the corner of the room so i guess in the winter months thats the only source of heat. So in summer you will cook and in winter you will freeze. Cooked Breakfast was poor quality and cheap yogurts. Cleaniness was good but somes ones dirty cotton buds were in the bathroom bin.
Excellent chef got a fried egg
We were late but still had what we wanted
Location easy access m5
Aircon would be nice
Certainly some improvements.
Still have the most poorly designed wash basin I have come across in travelling 42 countries.
Charging £5 a day now parking-at a motorway services hotel= gouging. Poor show that.
The evening bar service (a young man) was very good
The windows in the room could be opened
Bed - uncomfortable
only one spare pillow in a room for 2 people
Room not serviced on Sunday
Room serviced on Saturday but badly and incomplete
No hand towels available
No suitcase stand available
Breakfast - selection limited, quality poor, food not hot and left in trays for far too long
Inadequate car parking close to entrance of the hotel
Grounds in front of hotel needed a gardener and their bins emptied
