Days Inn by Wyndham Myrtle Beach-Beach Front

Employees were pleasant, but couldn't provide any useful information i.e., cabs, local transportation, shopping, entertainment (other than Broadyway at the beach), etc,. I had to look up everything on my phone. My room was OK, but it was kind of run down. Missing pieces of the floor was patched with tape which was coming up. No closet to hang anything. No suit case holder or iron. Ironing board was broken and only cold air came out of the drier. The remotes for each TV had to be exchanged because niether worked. Fridge cut off on Thursday, but did come back on the next day. No soap in either dispenser. No dishes, utensils or pots/pans to use while there. I didn't mention that because I wasn't planning to cook anything, but if a kitchenette is in the room, I think these items should be available. A large trash can was located outside my door and some guests left trash outside of it that was too big to go in which attracted bugs. There were so many things to complain about that I just stopped but the few things I did report (remotes, iron and board, fridge, trash, bugs) were taken care of fairly quickly. Don't know if I would stay here again.

Facility was in state of disrepair. I can't believe it had not been condemned! Also trash overflowing trash cans in corners on balconies.

We signed up for a 1pm check in for $20 when we arrived we were told to come back at 2 due the staff being on break, the elevator is broke so we had to use steps, there was minor maintenance issues at the property: ladder step was broke(had caution tape wrapped around it) the door to patio would stick and at time hard to close.

There were roaches all in the room! 🤢🤢

I DIDNT LIKE ANYTHING FROM START. #1 I only inquired about “maybe staying there!” Then I find out that THE DAY INN kept trying to take $278.00 off my chime card. Even though they have a pay later option!!

Their elevator didn’t work people were stuck on elevator and because the lady who was in front left for the night I guess they had to get 911 to get them out. The breakfast was not breakfast there was no selections. The staff was rude. The phones didn’t work. There was damage in the room. I was unconvinced the entire trip this had to leave and go to another hotel and I didn’t enjoy my stay until I left that hotel which was bad for me because the staff didn’t care or haven’t resolved my issue yet!!! Terrible terrible visible service

The front desk clerk was so very nice the pool was nice and the beach was great

people on the same floor were very loud very late at night. young kids were running screaming and adults smoking on the stairs and balcony walk way

had no soap in either sink or tub dispenser, had stove in kitchen but no dishes or pots/pans

Trash bags piled up at the end of all the stairwells. Elevator was out of service.

Elevator was broken, room was definitely outdated and looked like the ceiling needed work.

(1)There was no housekeepers available the whole stay and I wasn’t notified until I arrived to the property
(2) breakfast was horrible- waffles/ yogurt/ cereal no fresh fruits, bread/ bagels, juice & water.
(3) wasn’t able to determined who was employed/ look as if random people off the street..(no one was in a work uniform or work badge. Not professional at all
