We actually saw pictures of the breakfast in the elevator and said, “Damn, that food looks GOOD.” 😂 And it seriously looked exactly like the pictures and tasted even better.

We tried the Western eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, French toast, fruit, and the fresh-baked goods — and everything was SO fresh and delicious. The potatoes, sausage, pancakes, and French toast were actually soft and fresh, the fruit was delicious, and the options were fantastic. We basically ate our way through the entire breakfast! 😂

And the fresh-baked goods?! They genuinely tasted homemade. 12/10!

But honestly, the service was even better than the food. Christiana and Rae were absolutely wonderful — so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel so taken care of and made an already amazing breakfast experience even better.

We had the best time at this hotel. What made it 10000/10 was the AMAZING, HOMEMADE, and DECADANT food. Christiana and Rae and the whole kitchen team do it up BIG for us. They had us try some creations and they were to die for! If you go, check out the food and say hi to the team in the kitchen, they RULE😍

Booked for the airport shuttle and was very pleased with the prompt service after the call to get it. Comfy bed and surprisingly quiet that close to the airport and highway. Very pleasant staff.

Breakfast was delicious. It isn’t your standard holiday in breakfast. They had French toast and pork states link sausages that look way better than the typical ones you get. Amy was pleasant and greeted us when we came.

Jim from the van shuttle is the absolute best!! Got in super late and he went the extra mile to help me out!

My check was fast and easy. The front desk clerk kasha was very welcoming and friendly. She oriented me where things were in the building and she even put me down for scheduled shuttle bus times so that I could get to my clinicals on time. I highly recommend this place the rooms are very comfortable and cozy and the staff present excellent customer service.

I've stayed here several times - i like their Park and Fly service and have always had a good experience. The last few times it's been Brandi at the front desk and she is exceptionally friendly and welcoming while being professional.

Have to give a shout out to Jim and Brian, the shuttle drivers I've seen the most. Can't believe how friendly and helpful they are at the odd hours im traveling. One time when I was traveling in winter I got in just before midnight in the middle of a sleet storm and my car wouldn't start. Jim went and got his car to give me a jump.

One thing: the on site restaurant in only OK (in my opinion). Consider Tully's right across the street as a better option.

Jim and Brian our shuttle driver are always so pleasant. We have stayed at this location more than once and will continue to return.
Malissa at the front desk on the other hand was extremely rude when we checked in late Wednesday night. Her comment to us was: “I don’t know what you were told but that’s not happening”That’s a first negative experience we’ve had. All other staff have been amazing! Malissa’s attitude will not parent us from returning though.

Jim the Shuttle Van Man was super helpful and friendly. He communicated with me before my flight. And contacted me after I landed to let me know he was on the way. Thanks Jim.

Note there are two Holiday Inns near SYR airport. This one is about 4 miles down I-81 at the junction with the NY Thruway. Being near the airport and the Thruway, it's a great hotel for a one-night stay passing through Syracuse. They have a free airport shuttle, too, which I believe runs 24 hours a day. Very convenient. The staff was friendly and efficient. My rooms was standard corporate Holiday Inn design, lacking character. But it was large, clean, with a big desk and a little kitchenette even.

Overall, a good hotel for a one-night stay. A very good place to relax after a long flight or drive. The price was a bit more expensive than the hotels right around the airport, but this property looked nicer and you are a bit away from the airport so the plane noise is lessened.

We attended local event with a number of friends. The hotel management was terrific. They even adjusted the breakfast hours to accommodate the event scheduling. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, they couldn't control the weather! We'll definitely be back again next year.

The Holiday Inn, Liverpool NY has a great breakfast. Much better selection of food than the majority of the other hotels I have stayed at. Kudos to Justine and Amy who keep it that way. My hotel of choice when in the area.
