The hotel staff claim they are unable to issue an invoice for my stay because the prepayment was made through Booking.com After more than 30 days m, There has been absolutely no communication or response from the hotel. This is an extreme lack of professionalism. I do not recommend this hotel.
Amazing level of services and support provided by the hotel team, very convenient hotel location, excellent food and beverage choices
Location right next to London Liverpool St station.
Old facilities. Carpet in room. Toilet leaking. Toilet pumping makes a lot of noise throughout the entire stack of rooms.
Exceeded expectations. I have top-tier status with a different hotel chain, but the Andaz made more sense for this stay (better price, location, etc.) so we tried it out. No regrets -- the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional, rooms were a decent size, bed and pillows were comfortable, AC worked as expected, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel was also kid friendly without being kid-centric, including kid options at the happy hour.
The rooms and hotel are very clean, and the location is excellent. Attentive Staff. Free coffee is a nice touch. The attached restaurant is pleasant but somewhat expensive compared to nearby alternatives. They offer a nice breakfast buffet. Overall, it was a good experience.
Perhaps they just had an off week, but this was not a good stay. I traveled internationally, and I was not able to check in until 1 hour after the stated check in time of 3pm. They indicated they were “looking for an upgrade” as I am a globalist. I did not get an upgrade, which I understand as it was a busy week, but check in should have been completed on time.
Once my room was ready, my bag that I had checked in the lobby had not yet arrived. I asked to take the bag myself as I needed to get to a reservation, but the bag was already being transported to my room. After waiting another 15 mins, I had to look for my bag around the hotel and fortunately found the bell man in the elevator with my bag on his way to a different floor.
Room was small and the shower flooded every day. I had to use all the towels daily to dry off the floor. The first two days were manageable but the water was considerable on the last two.
A great location for tubes, trains and buses. Also, good walking access to all of the East End sites and the river.
The hotel is stylish and full of character, combining original with contemporary in a successful marriage.
There is a great chilled vibe in the characterful reception area. The staff are outstandingly welcoming and professional and the service is exceptional.
Rooms are a good size with high quality linens and products and good soundproofing. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is out of this world - amazing.
Our experience at this hotel was incredible. The location is amazing, the staff is so helpful, and the rooms were beautiful. We will absolutely be back! Special shoutout to Olga and AK for being so wonderful! AK arranged some very special surprises for our family and we are so grateful!
Unbeatable location,
Unmatched service,
Friendly and helpful team!
Nice, clean and refurbished rooms.
Strawberry & Cream and Champagne was offered during check-in!
The hotel's service, facilities, food, and cleanliness are impeccable, but a pre-authorization charge was placed on my credit card even though my company had already paid the full amount in advance. It has now been 10 days since the end of my stay, and the amount has still not been refunded.
Had a fantastic afternoon tea here on Saturday courtesy of a Groupon voucher. The sandwiches were tasty & delicate & the small cakes were exquisite, and just enough without over-facing us, as were the lovely scones.
There was a good choice of teas & the offer came with a glass of Prosecco each. At just over £20 each, this was an incredible deal at a really lovely place & with excellent service.
We will definitely be back. Thank you very much.
Great location and nice staff
The room had a shower that did not work properly and flooded the floor and the shower head was blocked so it did not flow properly. The hotel did not solve this issue , we had to report it twice before it was rectified. We left the room in the morning to return to a room in the same state,no clean towels. They also took a total of £799 from my account when they said it was £200. This was totally unacceptable , when I reported it to staff they told me it would take 2-3 days to rectify. I then had to access savings to add to my current account to allow me to travel and continue enjoying my trip. It was shocking for a 5 star hotel
Bed was comfortable
Room was not worth the price, having stayed recently in London quite often it's over priced I paid £425 for the room on a Saturday evening. Looking at the room it should of been closer to £180. Tired, small, no room service, no alcohol mini bar etc
Nice hotel with excellent service and a great location close to Liverpool Street Station. As a tourist visiting London who wasn't very familiar with the city, I found it very convenient to stay so close to the station. It made it easy to get around and quickly reach all the places I wanted to visit. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, lovely hotel and everything where you would expect it to be in the room. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Staff couldn't do enough.
