Great location. Quality, charm, vibe. pool
Pros:

"Hiding in plain sight" in the corner of the main plaza, just behind the giant gorilla (iykyk), Casa Natalia is warm and welcoming. A 10/10 for ambience, charm, air conditioning, attentive service, and gorgeous courtyard with pool. Right in the middle of all the shops and galleries. Lovely host.
Our room had a large bathroom and King bed, sitting area, small fridge, TV, and a fantastic private patio with a table and hammock. This all overlooked a stunning, serene pool with tasteful, colorful walls, fountain, and beautiful blue tile. There are cacti and trees in the terraced pool courtyard, all creating a vibe that's somehow simultaneously relaxing and energizing. Nice touches like locally made products in the gift shop, high quality bath products in the rooms, and traditional Mexican hearts in the trees.

There is a free coffee/tea station for guests and a menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We only ate breakfast (delicious fresh avocado toast, interesting tomato marmalade) but the menu looked good--Only lacking in on-menu vegetarian offerings. There is a tasteful, resort-worthy tiki bar overlooking the courtyard, and live music Thursday nights.

I'd recommend Casa Natalia for (1) Drinks or dinner at their restaurant Cocina during the Thursday Art Walk. (2) Upscsle, safe, personal, boutique accommodation for travelers of any age who can climb a few sets of 2-3 stairs. (3) An arts-loving guest who enjoys a beautiful, quiet pool, (4)Those seeking a more authentic Mexican experience who appreciate great service and English-speaking hosts. (5) A refreshing alternative to predictable corporate branded hotels

Wonderful!!
Pros:

This lovely boutique hotel is in a prime location on the plaza. The hotel has a charming quaint homey feel. The staff are amazing and owner Natalie so sweet and welcoming. We have stayed a couple times now and just love the vibe, rooms, pool, staff. Tina is amazing and so welcoming to everyone. Angie and Caesar at the front desk, all the bar staff ( I can’t recall all of their names), we throughly enjoy our stays. The food is very good and a good value. Can’t say enough about this charming hotel. Pet friendly as well!

Cons:

Can’t think of a thing.

Great place to stay - an authentic friendly feel with a pool oasis retreat in the middle of town.
Pros:

The hotel was fairly quiet when I visited so for most of the stay there was no problem getting sun beds by the pool - the staff were fantastic the room was clean and comfortable and the food was very good. Great location for visiting local restaurants and the square always had some activities in the evening.

Cons:

Quite a few stairs and no elevator so may present some challenges for people with mobility issues.

A gorgeous hotel, right in the middle of town, and so maybe it’s not the quietest, but the location can’t be beat.
Pros:

The property grounds are beautiful and the room was large and very comfortable.

Cons:

My room was in the last building, on the top floor, right above the very busy street behind. It was extremely loud with traffic and people, and all the goings on into the wee hours of the morning for both nights that I was there. The room is called Arbol de la Vida, and make sure you do not get this one.
I was surprised there wasn’t a small fridge in the room. There would be plenty of space to have this small convenience for guests.

Quick stop but we’ll be back
Pros:

It’s a beautiful oasis. I love that the main entrance is on a pedestrian square and the courtyard is so pretty. The restaurant is great. Loved the room with private terrace. Super comfortable mattress the best from our whole trip!

Cons:

Next time I’ll ask for a different room. Our room was “Abuela” and it was at the top above the perimeter wall and over looking the road. Was a bit noisy for sleeping but but very beautiful overall.
