Ok
WiFi was quite a problem to access. The curtains were dirty
We woke the first morning of our stay to find sewage in the bathroom sink. I asked for a refund for the first night and was denied. NO ONE should have to pay for sewage in the sink! Later that day, our toilet stopped up. We moved rooms and again asked for a refund of the first night. Numerous requests to speak to a manager and a first night refund met with no results. I repeat - NO ONE should have to pay for sewage in the sink.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean with nice products available in the shower. The gym was meh so I walked down to Crunch and worked out there. I would stay here again.
Close to UF with large spacious rooms.
getting a good coffee at the cafe. good restaurant options on property. spacious lobby for working or relaxation.
There was a hole in the curtain in our room. There was weird film on the bathroom floor and discoloration in the bathtub.
Stayed in hotel for 3 days as I was visiting University of Florida for a conference and the university paid for everything.
However when I checked-in the front desk asked for my credit card to pay for my stay. When I told him it was already paid by University of Florida. He sleepish agreed. No idea what he was trying to do .. scam me by misusing my credit card.
The first day housekeeping DID NOT service my room. When I asked the front desk they advised housekeeping only services does the room only if you ask them ... this is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!
On the 2nd day I told front desk make SURE housekeeping service my room today.
Guess What ... they STILL DID NOT service my ROOM.
If I ever visit University of Florida again I will inform the department I'm visiting at University of Florida NEVER to book this hotel for me.
Went to the No Name Lounge for my husband's birthday lunch. Met friends there! It took 15 minutes to even take a drink order. They did not know which beers were available on top nor which beers were available at all! We were told they had none of what we requested but we're not offered additional options! Only one person working at the bar. Very poor service! Had to ask for silverware had to ask for additional drinks had to request boxes once we were finished eating. While the food is very good, there should never be one person in attendance! As Hilton members we were somewhat astonished at this lack of service.
Nice clean comfy room
One rude staff lady at front desk.
Pool was also dirty
I checked in at 915pm. The front desk girl was great. I went to my room. Showered. Got ready to go have a drink at the bar. At 1041pm no one was in the bar area working or drinking. I went to the front desk and asked if they are open. She said yes. I went and sat at the bar for a few minutes. No motion anywhere in the restaurant. I went back to the front desk. New girl at 1045pm. I ask can you call someone to help get me a drink. She said I dont have a number to call anyone. I asked they dont have a phone number to call. She had an attitude. I asked her name. She said she doesn't have to give me that. So i took out my phone to take a picture and she went in the back. So I went outside to breathe. Came back and ask for a manager. She said there isn't one on site. Which is a lie. A manager has to be on property at all times. Then I asked for a phone number, email or business card. She said I dont know if I can find one. I said you better figure it out. DONT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED ANY ASSISTANCE OR HAVE A QUESTION. I have been in the hospitality business for 24.5yrs. This was the worst service I've ever had at a Hilton Hotel. So sad to see how far you have fallen in your service.
Close to baseball fields .
Plenty of free parking.
Clean, friendly, lovely breakfast
TV remote was not in room. New remotes did not work. After 3 visits to desk, and 2 calls to maintenance, situation was resolved.
