Disappointing don’t like complaining
Pros:

The location was good ,
Breakfast was nice
The room was clean and comfortable

Cons:

The fact that I had to complain made the experience disappointing.
Having already been informed that some rooms didn’t have air con , I rang in plenty of time to ask if I could have a room with air con or I’m happy to change the hotel .
Was told I would get a room with air con (working) to then be given a room with a fan instead , and to be told the air con worked , didn’t want to have to complain to get what I asked for but I had to , as 8:30 in the evening was too late to change my hotel .

Cons:

Air con in most rooms was broken . Mine sort of worked intermittently and was extremely noisy ! One of our party was offered a full refund but would have to book into another hotel !! Do didn’t even get a reduced price !!

It was OK.
Pros:

I did not take up the breakfast option because I was running late for my meeting. However, the receptionist was courteous and made me a quick cup of hot chocolate which was amazing of her.

Cons:

The air conditioning system was down and it was one of the hottest nights of the month! That made the night very uncomfortable and I did not get the rest I needed after a long day and in preparation for an even longer one! The hotel did supply a fan, but it was an ineffective small desk fan which was plugged far from the bed since there were no sockets/power points close to the bed.

Perfect, safe, clean with amazing staff
Pros:

After being forced leave an Air B&B round the corner due to serious cleansiness issues, we booked alternative accommodation here very last minute for 6 family members attending a family wedding.
On our arrival we were all very distressed after the horrific events at the Air B&B and on one hottest weekends of the year, the staff were all amazing they made is feel very welcome and safe, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were all spotless as was the whole hotel. We were so very grateful for their support and they helped us to salvage what could have been a very traumatic weekend into something more positive. Thank you to all the staff that were always smiling and friendly

Attentive staff, poor air conditioning in room.
Pros:

Good location, nice staff.

Cons:

It was 32 degrees and the Air conditioning wasn’t working in the room. I was moved to a different area of the hotel and it didn’t working there either.

The hotel should not have been taking bookings without a huge discount in price and actually letting the customer know the air conditioning wasn’t working!

Great will definitely stay again
Pros:

Wow breakfast looked lovely when we came down , everything looked fresh and it was 8.15 and breakfast starts at 6.30 sometimes we've been away and breakfast can look a little dry , there was plenty to choose from and even grab bags if you were in a rush, we were about 10 min walk from the centre and it's a nice walk , air-conditioning wasn't working and it was in the extreme heat we had in June , but was given a fan in our room and left bottled water and an email was sent a day before explaining why , so they have tried to get it fixed , staff were so friendly and smiled 😊

Cons:

Pillows we're a little hard for me but you can't please everyone , there was something a lady had left in my bathroom bin but when I mentioned it to the desk it was removed stright away , that was the only real mistake cleaner should have emptied the bin .

Glad I wasn’t staying two nights
Pros:

Helpful staff

Cons:

The rooms need sound proofing and silent door closing. We were kept awake by next door having their TV on until 3 am. People coming back to hotel in early hours and talking in the car park.
The AC was too high and really cold in the bar/breakfast area
