The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast lots of chose and really nicely cooked,
We defiantly did not like at all going for breakfast and seeing immigrants coming down for there breakfast in pyjama's.
Then congregating just outside the main entrance of the hotel sitting on the floor, it was very unpleasant to have to walk around them to get to our car, They looked at you as though we should not have been there. very unnerving to say the least. If I had have known this i would have booked somewhere else.
Please let paying people know that the hotel is full of council homeless people
Please let paying guest know you are full of homeless
Reception looked like a jumble sale
As I was informed of a long term guest was leaving
Loved our stay here! We'll be back!

It was a good location for us
Very tired and dated, most of the rooms are rented to the council which meant the occupants were hanging around all day it made it feel intimidating
Good location as we were visiting family nearby. It was clean enough and the staff we dealt with were very pleasant.
This hotel is being used by the council to house homeless people. We were not told of this before we came. There are children running around and people walking around in their pyjamas. There are also people hanging around the entrance smoking late at night. I have every sympathy with them as it cannot be easy living in a hotel room, especially with young children. Due to the warm weather people had their doors wedged opened and there were bags of rubbish and laundry lying in the corridor. There was also a sign forbidding "council guests" from accessing the corridor hotel guests were in which I felt was singling them out and labelling them. Breakfast was like a canteen with children running around and a free for all really. Dreadful experience and I feel really ripped off and that I paid a fairly decent amount of money to live in a homeless hostel. Will not return.
Location was perfect for what we wanted
There appeared to be people living in the hotel, the hall way had smells of cooking food, not ideal.

The location for our needs was great
The fact we hadn't been advised it was being used for social housing. We arrived at breakfast & it was hectic with children running everywhere. Having used a HI Express before we expected the same standard of breakfast - but it wasn't. The only fresh fruit were oranges & apples. The fruit juice was over watered.
On our return from a day out one of our room doors was open which caused great concern especially as we had been shopping. I'm pleased to say nothing was missing. The fire door between paying/non paying guests was often wedged open.
We did lodge our complaint at the hotel & they gave a partial refund.
We will not be using this hotel again.
Location
I decided not to stay due to most of hotel was used to house other people which some was stood outside drinking and been very loud then inside one resident cooking something in there room which phisically made me feel very sick there was no mention on booking that the hotel is shared also I had my dog no mention of extra £20 per night I was booked in for 3 nights I felt so unsafe I decided to leave and went to another hotel
breakfast was good
The breakfast was good. Friendly staff, good location
Wasn't happy with a sofa bed, it was very creaky and uncomfortable. Noise from residents, no soft drinks available. Long term guests smoking weed out the front of the hotel. Children running up the hall.
Friendly staff good food, and cleanliness

Lovely room and comfortable bed. Good quality Dove shower and soap dispensers. Nice hot shower.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Didn’t expect to have ‘council guests’ hanging around the property and during breakfast which made us feel uncomfortable. Plus hot breakfast was lukewarm 🙁
