The location.
The pillows was shit. My room was dirty, stuff on the floor ,hair in the bed hair , hair all over the shower wall and counter top in the bathroom. Hand prints on both mirrors. The TV channels kept going pixelated and would just shut the TV off. Everytime you bump the end table to light flickered or just completely shut off. Pool was dirty hot tub out of order and breakfast was trash and barley anything there at the time I came down.
We was packing up our stuff to leave after a very uncomfortable night and we found cock roaches on the wall and one in the drawer. I definitely will not be coming back.
Front desk worker was courteous and somewhat helpful.
Dark and dingy and an old property that shows its wear and tear once you leave the front desk.
Staff were nice cleanliness
No close elevator, AC not working properly, very slow WIFI, plug did not work in the bathtub, no smart TV, dark curtains dont fully close.

Not a single thing. The whole experience was absolutely terrible.
One staff person working the front desk in street clothes, we didn't even realize he was a worker. No running water when we arrived. We were ignored and had to wait about 10 minutes or so before being checked into our room. Other guests at or near the front desk were very sketchy. One lady appeared to be on drugs and was helped before we were, even though we had been waiting first and the worker knew/saw that. She started cussing the worker at the front desk out. Very trashy behavior in front of my 2 young kids that did not need to see/hear that. We were finally given our hotel room keys, got to our room, opened the door and someone else was already utilizing that room! We were pissed off and immediately went back to the front desk demanding a refund and we left to stay at the Holiday Inn near by, which was a MILLION times better and nicer and more accommodating.
The location was right convenient to visit family around that area..
The smell in the room the color of the carpet dark brown dont know, how can you tell if is clean or not and that smell of humidity ,,

This place was terrible the water and the bathtub didn't go down the TV didn't work the table was broken they were smoking drugs in the back of the place I wouldn't recommend a dog to go here
It was terrible it was not what I thought I stayed with comfort inn on several occasions but never the one in Allen Park and will never stay there again
Staff was friendly and welcoming, room was clean
Hot tub is being worked on an inoperable, elevator wasn’t working, so I had to take stairs to the second floor I’m disabled so it took a minute stayed for two days so I believe it could’ve been repaired in a timely fashion

Horrible experience! This hotel was filthy and nasty! The elevators didn’t work, the rooms were outdated and full of severely worn furniture. Not our caliber of hotel clearly so we won’t be back.
The carpet throughout was filthy we could not believe a Choice brand hotel could even look like that .
