Pros:

From the time we booked in until the time we checked out we couldn't fault the service cleanliness, and excellent breakfast.Every member of staff we came in contact with were knowledgeable, polite,and a credit to Holiday Inns.

Cons:

Only fault was our TV was disconnected from the aerial and I count see where it went so no tv.,but in a two night stay I only wanted to watch on the last night,so not really a problem

Lovely staff
Pros:

The staff’s amazing, room was clean would stay again.

Cons:

Lack of AC. Didn’t know that was a thing. Till I was here that night. But there was a fan and you could open a window. But you need to pull a curtain to block out the light from the parking lot. So you’re hot because of lack of fresh air.

But there is cold AC in the main lobby and breakfast room.

Stay in Gloucester
Pros:

No air con on hottest days but fan was provided and the reception/restaurant was air conditioned.
Breakfast excellent as usual with these hotels.
Bumble Bee pub next door and provide good meals and a collection service.

Uncomfortable night
Pros:

The staff very friendly

Cons:

No aircon in the rooms for £154 a night would make me look elsewhere if it’s hot on my next visit to Gloucester.
A fan in room did little to help

Gutes Holiday Inn Express Hotel. Freundlicher Service und gutes Frühstück. Viele Parkplätze, gratis.

Cons:

Die Toilettenspülung in meinem Zimmer ist öfters mal weitergelaufen und ich musste einige Male drücken, bis es aufhörte. Es gibt keinen Toilettenbesen.
Das Pub gegenüber ist so lala. Trotz wenig Besuchern, musste ich 40 Minuten auf meinen Burger warten. Und er war erst noch komplett durchgegart und nur schwer zu schneiden. Das Personal war abweisend.

All the basics, no frills
Pros:

Clean, functional with everything we needed. Breakfast included.

Cons:

A couple with an enormous dog were allowed to sit in the middle of the restaurant, blocking the route to breakfast for many guests who either had to step over the dog or find another route. On a very busy morning this proved quite difficult.
