The location and environment were excellent for our need...close to the port of Galveston.
We were there for only a night...just passing thru, very excited about our cruise.. Not enough time be critical about anything. 987-6832
Liz at the front desk was friendly, helpful and professional. Made us feel welcomed.
I couldn’t stream apps like YouTube or Netflix etc.
The breakfast was great. Good selection! Plentiful.

I had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Seawall Inn & Suites by the Beach. The crew was genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I was upgraded to a spacious suite with a beautiful sea view, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel offers great value, and its location is very convenient — just about 10 to 12 minutes from Galveston’s main attractions. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service and a perfect base for exploring the area.

I enjoyed talking with the attendant at the front desk. I arrived late and my reservation was canceled. She was very friendly and helpful.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.
The only things I liked were the breakfast and the low nightly room rate.
We disliked practically everything. To start with, when we checked in, we were served by an unpleasant woman—clearly a newcomer being trained by an older colleague; there were no smiles, just a sullen face greeting us. For the first time, we were given a room on the ground floor—I can't stand the ground floor. On the way to our room, there were dirty, unused exercise machines in the hallway right outside our door; it looked disgusting. The door to the room didn't close properly, and there was a smell of dampness and staleness. The room was very dimly lit. Only miniature bottles of shampoo and conditioner were provided. It was quite a long way to the beach.
The staff was nice, and the breakfast was good.
The evening front desk lady was very sweet, helpful, and made checking in easy. The pool looked nice however we didn’t go swimming so I can only judge by looking into the lobby. Price for the stay was good and breakfast was decent.
The room stunk, the breakfast area was not clean. It had spoons on the floor and things all over the counter that could have easily been wiped. The blow dryer in the bathroom was broke and I got my hair stuck in it and had to cut my hair to get it unstuck. The morning front desk lady was no help with that, manager wasn’t on site and manager has yet to deal with the situation after multiple messages left.
The staff! For us the staff was amazing. They really went out of their way to help up with a reservation issue we were having, and it's close to the beach we always go to.
Well, the place could be nicer. The parking does not accommodate the amount of guest staying there. The insides are (the carpet especially)needing to be replaced and the bathrooms need better lighting instead of an integrated light on the mirror. The benches in the front of the building should be moved so that customers don't get wet from the a/c units that are directly above them.
The pool
The rooms were hot
Location near the beach, breakfast was ok, minimal and the same thing every morning
The hotel is an older building. As soon as you step into the hotel you could smell a musty odor. I guess that's why they had blowers going in the corners. The ceiling by the front desk looked like it had black mold going around it. Our room was meh, but the air conditioner worked very well, BUT the bathroom ceiling had cracks and needed work. The lightning over the bathroom mirror was VERY DIM you could barely see in there! Also upon arriving to check in I believe the owner (man in a red shirt) walked past us on his phone without even greeting us. We waited a while until an employee finally came to check us in. We've stayed at a lot of Best Western Hotels, but this one was the worst. I definitely won't book here again.
The AC worked well, the staff was friendly/kind, there wasn't a fee for parking and it is walking distance from the beach.
Curtains couldn't be shut completely (a downside since I was on the first floor).
Very friendly workers!
The parking was kinda hard but it was also during the 4th of July so it’s understandable
Its clean and well organized how ever Its kinda old
Nothing
Easy access and not too crowded .
The lack of parking space, and not much variety for breakfast, same breakfast 3 days in a row!!
