Location. Free breakfast

Cons:

Breakfast items weren’t topped up for the last slot at 9:30. No orange juice. Coffee machine not working. Some food items had almost run out

Pros:

The staff were excellent. There was an error with our rooms 4 rooms confirmed by email yet only 3 on their system. As they had just received a cancellation all was well. Very nice reception staff. Nice bathroom products.
Breakfast was also very good.

Cons:

We were in room 019 it was rather smelly not sure what it was but unpleasant each time you entered, no point in mentioning as id already been told they were full. The shower was also very poor with only a trickle making washing your hair not so good.

Stinking Stoke stay.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, good location.

Cons:

The bathroom reeked of cannabis, to the point that we were unable to use it, even having the door open led to the smell overpowering the sleeping area. I’m unsure as to whether this was coming from the vents or whether a previous guest left it hanging around but I was unable to shower or use any toilet facilities for the duration of the stay. I paid £145 for the evening stay and for this price I expect to be able to use all facilities advertised without getting a cannabis waft headache.

Perfect overnight stay
Pros:

Nice clean and spacious room, with an amazingly comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb. Well cooked and fresh and plentiful. Bar service was fast and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Rooms were a good size and clean

Cons:

We did ask for a room on the ground floor due to my son having ASD which was accommodated, it did however sound like there was a washing machine going off early evening which went on for sometime and then early morning as the cleaning crew arrived there was a lot of banging in the room next to us as they were getting things out for the day.

Also in the evening which is no fault of the hotel there was an event locally which had very loud music on until around 10pm that had been happening since 5pm, I did message asking if they knew of an event happening and if they knew what time it would finish.
If I would have had advance warning prior to arrival I would have requested a different room as the windows were closed and it was still extremely loud, I was unable to go down to the desk because we were attempting to try and get my son to sleep which was proving difficult given the level of noise between what sounded like a washing machine next door and the local rave music outside that was happening.

I did not receive any response from the hotel and still have not had a response to date.
There was no one on the desk when we were checking out to speak with either.
