Staff friendly, Breakfast was great.
Bed far too soft. We kept rolling into the middle. Smart TV didn't work, so Limited options.

Breakfast was good, staff were really friendly and helpful.

It’s nicely clean, bed is really comfortable and it does the job really well.
Breakfast was a bit so so, it was good but not much variety which is understandable as it is a small hotel. It’s still good tho.
Just had a weekend break at this hotel , nice hotel the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, it's a bit out of York but we just used it as a stepping stone to the Yorkshire coast , evening staff at the reception was so helpful and breakfast staff were excellent, certainly would recommend a stay

Great location, great price. Very good staff, Joshua booking in and the staff at breakfast (apologies didn't get there names) very clean and very quick to clear empty plates.

Booked because it was dog friendly but then had to pay extra when we arrived for the dogs...
At check in .. Joshua was friendly and very welcoming, he even swapped some of our rooms from 1st floor to ground floor to make it easier to access the rooms with golf bags and equipment. (Excellent service)
Room was clean, large, comfortable bed and great shower.
Breakfast was great, hot food well cooked, plenty of coffee and juices and the tables were kept very clean by male staff member.
I liked everything about the hotel
A very standard HI Express, location was convenient for us, but I think it is popular for business guests. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was OK but we have experienced better in other HI Expresses.
Had the pleasure of staying here for three nights after driving down from Glasgow in the middle of the night due to family medical emergency. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for my wife and I during a worrying time. Big shout out to Chris, the manager and staff who went above and beyond.
Breakfast was cracking too.
